I have a 2023 Vulcan S. I had 3 Harleys, and when I wanted to get a new bike I couldn’t afford a Harley. I’m 65, 5’6” and love this bike! Nice pickup too!! Great for any level of experience. Enjoy

Have had mine for 2 years...first bike so have nothing to compare it to, but at 63, I am very happy with it and have no desire to change! Great on highway with enough power to get out of and keep out of trouble, but also good for city travel and daily commute to and from work! Love it...
Watched your post, you can see how much interest there is in this bike by how many views it has, I have a Vulcan S myself & enjoy it so much I started a channel around it, mods, touring & rideouts , Cheers
Yes love my bike in UK. Had it 4 years its a 2018. Just returned from my 4th long European trip with all the camping stuff. In UK this is the 'performance' version complete with Arrow exhaust and bikini fairing. Many mods but the round mirrors with vertical extension is tops - for looks and vision. The rear light is an L.E.D but well worth updating front (and running light) and indicators to L.E.D. The only downside is the chain maintenance without centre stand - it sucks but you get used to it. Im an old git so its suits riders of all ages. Have fun.
I own a 2016 Vulcan S, as a first bike and I really love it. I agree all of your points, however I'm 1.85 cm, and still comfy. It is perfect for just chillin ridings, but I love to try it out for smaller tours also. Also good in city rides, on a bit wider roads, you can trespass across the standing car lines. And it is looks good, I had lots of comments, that this is a nice bike.
It's nice to hear that you like your bike. It sure is a great bike. Thanks for letting me know that it fits your height. I sometimes gets comments asking "i'm xxxx tall, can I ride this bike?" so now I can use that information and pass along! =) thanks for watching please subscribe to support me and my work

Looks like a great bike for my daughter. She currently rides a Suzuki VL250 but it's a bit small for cruising and we have an 4,000 KM ride coming up and I don't think the 250 can cover it comfortably. I'm on a Triumph Speedmaster 1200 which does everything I need. She was looking at a V-Star 650 but I'm concerned that it may be a bit heavy for her at 5' 2". After watching this demo I'll check out the Vulcan.
Look into Honda Shadow 600 or 750. They are not heavy really, they might are on paper but they are good beginner bikes. I used to have a 750. See my video on my channel, it sounded amazing.... but the vulcan s is a good choice also. =) Thanks for watching
I don't know because I've only been test riding the bike for maybe 30 mins or so. Ask around on Kawasaki groups online and you might get a good answer =) Thanks for watching my video, please consider supporting me and my work by subscribing to my channel =)
nice ride man.i was thinking the transalp couse i ride on/off bikes my whole life, but there is something is this bike that i like....maybe i want that easy rider feel at this point of my life.... i m just afraid if the horsepower isnot enought and i regret it
Yeah its a nice bike if you want to cool off and just enjoy riding. If you're a speed freak then maybe its not enough but I didn't find it to feel "too weak/boring" try one and find out for yourself if it fits you. it sure is a great bike and if you slap on a slip-on/full system then you're settled =) thanks for watching please subscribe to support me and my work
I am about to give up riding AGAIN due to my inability to find the right bike. I will need to try the Vulcan 650S. It's always been a dream bike. I own the 2004 Vulcan Classic 1500 and it's just too much bike for me. I want something nimble, and easy to ride for an old guy with bad knees.
Yeah try it. See if its a good fit. You can also look into Yamaha Virago 535, Honda CMX500... also nice nimble bikes. I have videos of them on my channel. check them out. Thanks for watching, please subscribe to support me and my channel =)
I've been riding a scooter for about a month. I'm starting to get my license for a big bike and I'm looking for something that would be suitable for a beginner rider. I have no experience as a motorcyclist, but I've been riding a bicycle for 30 years and a car for 30 years. I have a lot of experience in traffic and I've got it all sorted out in my head, so I'm not looking for any high speeds. I'm 194 cm and 118 kg. Would this bike be suitable for me? I mean in terms of size. Riding characteristics, probably yes, as it's more of a beginner's bike. (not very sharp throttle response, lots of safety assists, good handling, not heavy, and finally a bike that forgives a lot of newbies)
I get this question a lot... (tall person asking me 175cm if bike will fit them) I honestly cant answer you buddy. Go to your local dealership and sit on the bike, feel if it feels good or not. when you do have your license, try to find one to test ride and you will find out if it fits you or not. =) I have ridden bikes (like the honda rebel 500 and 1100) which I have felt were almost too small for me, but I've gotten comments from taller people sayin they had no problem with them at all.... most cruisers / customs are easy to ride and you don't have to have traction control / safety things. sure it can help but in my opinion, you could do without. Most custom / cruisers bikes you can customize with having the pegs and gears put more forward, change them fit taller people. so you could pick whatever bike and just adjust it if you feel the need. I hope I could answer you some, feel free to ask me more if you want. Thanks for watching, please subscribe to support me and my channel =)
Ja, den ser rätt snygg ut faktiskt. Modern men ändå lite retro. Jag tyckte inte den var för klen. Den var lagom och trevlig att köra. Sätta på vance and hines pipor på den bara sen är man nog nöjd bra många år framåt! =)

The only good is the price and the engine. The forward foot position is uncomfortable in the city. The must put this engine to the eliminator frame. I had rebel 500.
Kawasaki needs to punch this thing up to 750 cc. Dyno's of this bike show power starts to drop after 7000 rpm. So roll-on power subsides at 85 mph in sixth. Cruisers should be able to roll on with force to 100 mph for emergencies. So, Kawasaki needs to make the punch to 750cc and adjust the gearing accordingly. For relaxed interstate travel, the gearing should place the Kawasaki at about 4300 rpm @ 75 mph (GPS speed). That would qualify this bike as a genuine cruiser if they made these changes.....my two cents...... Ideal roll-on power in 6th gear from 60 mph to 100 mph should be in the 5 second range. This bike, as currently configured, the power-band is suited to 6th gear roll-on performance in the 50 mph to 75 mph range (5.3 seconds approximately). Ideally, Kawasaki should set the 50 mph to 75 mph pull to 5th gear, and 75 mph to 100 mph pull in 6th gear to be in the 5 second range. Adjust the gearing to be in the meat of the power-band which for this motor appears to be about 4300 to 7100 rpm range.
Yeah its a mid bike. If you want more power then there are better options really =) Thanks for watching my video, please consider supporting me and my work by subscribing to my channel. =)
