Most places you go online there is mention of world problems and issues,usually followed by uninformed red or blue flag waivers screaming nothing is wrong when in truth they are the biggest reason the problems persist. I love auto racing. I have favorite teams. No team is perfect. All deserve to race. Much thanks to all involved for putting these races up for all to enjoy.
One of the only reasons I tune in is for the battle with gtlm. I have been a fan since the alms days and let me tell you this is just sad. Only one manufacturer in gtlm corvette is my favorite team but there’s no one to race against in the same class. Just plain sad

Can somebody explain to me why CORVETTE RACING doesn't have any opponents in the GTLM class!??!? What the hell happened to Ford, BMW, Ferrari and Porsche!??!?
This was NOT a points race for GTLM. The BMW teams and Porsche team had other commitments this weekend. Also, GTLM is phasing out in 2022 for the GTD PRO class. Thanks.
Just because 2 cars are from the same team doesn’t mean that there is no competition between them. They were definitely both fighting for the win and viewed each other like any other competitor
If memory serves, this race has been run around the (traditional) time for LeMans and always excluded GTLM, as those teams were in France (along with many regular drivers from the prototypes). While the class IS sorely depleted right now, the C8s were just there to let the "hometown" crowd have a look-see - not score points.

They were all in Le Mans. The LMP2 and most of the GTLM class. Corvette didn’t go to Le Mans that year so they just decided to test out ABS for GTD class.
John Hindhaugh, Jeremy Shaw and Shea Adam should be the ones on the NBC Sports broadcast. They do such a better job by lightyears.

agreed cannot listen to the NBC courage at all it has to be Hindhaugh, Shaw and Adam.
I think some of their greatness is because they are also on radio simultaneously so they bring radio energy and detail to tv and it’s amazing.

GTLM doesn't race at Detroit normally. Since le mans was pushed to Aug, they did a Vette expo for the hometown crowd.
This was not an official race for GTLM. No points for this one. The C8.R's are there for the people in the stands.
Regardless it’s a dead class. Looking forward to 2022!

I have been off of this series for a few months due to busy schedule... Why is it only Corvette in GTLM?
The two BMWs and the Porsche are only running the Endurance events. GTLM will be replaced by GTD PRO next season.

The Car noise alot at times drowns out the commentary even with my TV on full blast.
