This is fire. Love this video & got a couple ideas. I definitely have to get my Ghost some supplements to add to his food. I’m currently giving him Instinct kibble, organic chicken broth, raw egg, & raspberries at 3 months turning four. At 6 months , I’m going to transition him to a raw diet for sure.
Thank you for the video. Very informative. I feed my husky raw freeze dry. However, I think it's more expensive. I also follow the Husky Squad and want to take their course on kibble to raw, so I can start her on a raw diet, permanently.
wow. i think i'll start this for my ten year old husky. he's had a mix of kibble and real food but. the kibble he just wont touch anymore. that and he's allergic to chicken and grain. so finding food is getting more difficult.
My main question with raw feeders is what about when you Travel with your dog? With kibble its easy to just pack a large ziplock bag in your luggage, but its not as easy with raw meat ,its more delicate and TSA ect ? Any tips from dog owners who travel with their dog ?
Hi. I still bring the raw food with me. I invested in a yeti bag and put all his raw food in there. When I travel I always make sure to request a small refrigerator in the hotel or wherever I’m staying at. It has not stopped is before from feeding him raw hike traveling. Also. One time I ran out of raw food. I googled a natural pet store and they had raw food as well that was complete. Meaning it had the meat, organs, muscles, and also veggie and supplements mixed in. If you are flying I suggest preparing to look for places to source raw when planning the trip. You can do it!!
@claudiacomas1333 I feed him the same way twice a day. I also have another video that shows the EASIEST way to feed raw. Check it out here: th-cam.com/video/TlEeiqCDemA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=lcabNHLtgqnTlnyM
I am going to put our dogs on a raw diet too, we have two siberian huskies and they have diarrhea alot of times. Currently I cook their food but I feel they dont get all the nutrients as I dont necessarily have time to cook it every day and try to add stuff in. They are super picky.... Love this channel though! I tried to bring up the issues my husky was having with his food and brought up a raw diet to their vet and he completely shut down the argument it was really dissapointing. I love husky squad though they are great and i plan on doing their course too
Yay! Can’t wait to hear about their transition and I know you will get sooo much info from the course. I’m so happy for your huskies!! Let me know how it goes!! 🫶
@@waltervega8730 i agree. took my male husky to a diff integrative medicine dr they gave me a supplement to try and said i can try a few websites if i wanna transfer to raw but my huskies are so used to it being cooked they look at me like im crazy giving them raw meat lol. i recently starting putting in some finely shreded carrots and the supplement they gave me and they dont seem to mind it as much
It’s optional. But I like to add it because it’s such a powerful herb! It’s cancer fighting and also helps with inflammation. I also take the turmeric for myself!
@@waltervega8730 that is correct! Gatsby is about 62 pounds. I split the pound. During the summer when he doesn’t like to do much and sleeps and lays around I give him just a tad less
Hi! It’s actually not that expensive. There are so many places to source the proteins once you understand what to feed your pup. Like a local butcher shop can sell you organs and muscle meats. There are also more and more raw food companies now. I just started trying a complete raw recipe from a company called Viva Raw. They have the meats and organs and bones all mixed in for you. I spend about $300 a month for raw food. It’s so worth it because I know he’s not eating crap from kibble. I also don’t want to deal with kidney and liver and Gastrointestinal issues when he gets older as the the organs will get inflamed from processing the kibble. I budget and allocate money for the raw food. I will not spend money on things I want, but what I need. It’s a sacrifice I am willing to make for Gatsby. Like eating out less, shopping only on sale if I need something or just not spending on fancy stuff. In the end, all this is worth it because the vet bills will be a killer once they get illnesses. Oh! And don’t forget to get pet health insurance. I saved thousands of dollars on vet bills. Will be coming up with a video soon about that. 🙏 If you interested in a trial, you can get a promotional deal here with this link: vivarawpets.superfiliate.com/GATSBY
If you know where to source the raw meat, it is actually less expensive than a premium bag of kibble. The video has a link to a course which teaches how to source raw meat. If money is really the issue, I would spend less money on other things for myself or find a way to make more money so that I can give what my dog deserves. And that’s good health.
@@elainelinle good to know, I went to the website link and it looked pretty spendy I guess if you break it down to daily portions it’s competitive depending how much they consume every day. I agree it’s nice to take good care of your pets, I don’t even eat this well and I should more often lol. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the food advises. Yes, the huskies' stomachs are so sensitive. By the way, Gatsby is so cute & has beautiful innocent eyes!
Gatsby says thank you!
Beautiful! Love seeing people seeing the light and past the BS of the kibble industry.
I would grind the egg shell along w the veggies
So sweet. My Winter girl has done great with just chicken and good kibble but it's time to up my game. Thanks for sharing:)
Let me know how the transition goes!! So happy and excited for your pup. 🙌

Should grind shells into a powder maybe? And if carnivore raw, why celery?
Im just wondering if he would eat the paste and eggshell if you added the goat milk to the main meal instead of separate

I wouldn't like to eat tumeric powder and egg shells either xD Why not grind them into a paste or sauce
😂
My Siberian husky is 7 months old, what should I do and how should I start feeding him like this. Can I get some help I never had a dog before
I have another video. It is the easiest way for new dog parents to feed raw:

Yes, most vets will not listen and insist on kibble diet! They think, raw food is a fad and dogs won't get the necessary nutrients to thrive.

Cheers.
