Hello so good to see you both out on the bikes, bloody brilliant, enjoy...stay safe....The KTM 390 is working so well with the Mods.... David...Adelaide...Tiger 900GT & Street Scrambler....
A definite thumbs up for the coober ecu, coming from a stock 390 to Nats bike, definitely noticed the low down torque 👍🏼 glad i missed orb season, that was bloody huge!! Sure was overgrown in there but cool fun 😎 awesome video guys 😁🤘🏼🍺
Next upgrade should be a chainsaw on the front of that 390! I can hear Doc Brown’s voice …. ‘Trails? Where we’re going, we don’t need trails!’ 🤣🤣 The progression of Nat’s riding over the years is crazy! Tearing it up 👌🏻good on you guys
Coober ECU and pipe looks like it made a huge difference low down on the hills. Nat will probably notice the difference loaded up on the next road trip.
Yeah should be a big improvement all round. Pity KTM didn't just tune the bike for off-road from factory 🤦♂ But it's good to have these aftermarket options anyway, cheers mate
Awesome video guys, Have enjoyed watching the evolution of Nats Orange thing, sounding pretty healthy . You know what's worse than a spider ? A bigger spider 🕷️ I'd definitely be home till April😅. Cheers 👍🍺
WOW Nat was killing those hills on the new supercharged 390, what a difference hey. Yeah i would not be in there with them spiders🕷️🕸️😬 so thanks for the commitment there Josh and Nat😲 atb Dixie
Been waiting for this vid! You can pry my Coober from my cold, dead hands! :) such a no-brainer mod - zero downsides for me ~10 months in. Great vid, as usual!
Awesome 👍 not something I'm needing at the moment but ya never know 🤔 Those spiders would definitely have me having second thoughts about a forest ride 😬 😂 That T7 sounds so beastly Josh👌 I just love its growl 🤙
Another great ride.. with a lot of tight spots and way too many spiders ..not a fan of nasty big bugs😱 glad you're upgrades made a difference. With those small tree limbs that block your way ...Milwaukee tools makes a very small battery powered sawzall... You should pick up one of those with a wood blade.. to cut those branches out.. so you don't have to find a way around. Happy riding 👍👍🇺🇲
Yeah a little saw like that would be handy sometimes, but man carrying so much stuff... I dunno sometimes it's just easier to barge a track around obstacles. We do have a little manual pruning saw in the ride kit but rarely ever get it out lol. Cheers 🍻
@@MVDBR the saw I'm talking about is really small but it runs off of a rechargeable battery.. I would definitely look into it ..it's pretty cool..👍🇺🇲 Georgia
Spider-Man Spider-Man does whatever a spider can! bugging Nat, bugging Josh, making them head home to get sloshed tada here comes the Spider-Man! haha good to see that Cooba doing its job!
Hey Nat & Josh When your out on the road before you get to the dirt. What do you wear under the mx clothing in the way of protection? Love the bikes took your advice and got a set of Kriega bags for my t700
I had a t-shirt on under the jersey if that counts, was a little brisk early in the morning lol. These trails are only 10 mins from home so we just ride out in jerseys. How good are the Kriegas 🤙
Great to see you both out and about among your air breathing arthropod mates. Those spiders are just seeing how many "Hits" they can get on their Web. LOL. Glad Nat is happy with the turbo Mods.
Do you see many of those brown snakes on a ride... they put the wind up me a bit.... are the spiders venomous or just a pain in the ass to ride through...... asking for a friend :)
We've seen quite a few brownies over the years yeah, run over a couple too haha that's sure to put the shivers up ya spine 😬 Spiders are more of a pain in the ass, the webs mostly. Not venomous but apparently capable of a painful bite if you're unlucky. They should be gone by the end of March 🤞
Seems pretty good on the punchy bits. Have been wanting to ask - what is Nats' inseam and how does the powerparts seat fare in terms of putting the foot down?
Not sure about inseam but she's about 5'4 tall, I feel like the rally seat is wider and therefore makes touching the ground more difficult. I actually prefer the stock seat, aside from getting feet to the ground easier it's more comfortable for my bum but she likes the rally better 🤷♂
@@TrailsnGravel they look like they work very similar... not sure if Nat had heard of the Powertronic, someone suggested the Coober so we looked into that 🤷♂
Hey guys, quick question, have you done a resonator removal? Any thoughts? I’ve got the full coober airbox/exhaust/ecu on already, and cut the baffle out of the stock pipe. Already heaps better performance and sound. But the resonator still sounds a bit shit… more of a drone and less brappp if ya know what I mean… Anyway, lemme know you’re thoughts?!? Ps. Love the vids!
Yeah don't think there was any video on it but did end up removing the big resonator long before fitting the Coober. The bike was obnoxiously loud with that thing removed and the little muffler fitted.
New subscriber here, I'm really enjoying the content so far! I was wondering if you have a video of your thoughts about the 390 adventure as a budget offroad bike. I've been considering the 390 and thought it would be rad to see your skill level riding the 390 offroad to showcase its capabilities. Possible future video ? Cheers mate
The wife did a pretty comprehensive review here th-cam.com/video/FxA6NNaySZ4/w-d-xo.html unless you particularly wanted to see a blokes point of view. Although I do butt in on that video quite a lot anyway 😅 Glad you're enjoying the channel anyway 🤙
Got the 390 Adventure myself, but underwhelmed by its performance. Don't enjoy it off-road too much. However, I was prepared for that...sort of expecting it. So I'm thinking doing this exhaust mod, but, after watching your videos, I'm still not sure what to do. I understand you have to rev to 10k in order to get it to 160. Shifting at 8k gets it to 145...and based on conditions maybe 150 or so, but it's struggling. I thought it was doing 160 without revving it to 10k. So, my question, what is it doing with this Coober exhaust. I may just need to get a bigger bike...they (like the 890 Adventure R) are way more expensive though...hmm...cheers for the videos.
I can't answer your question mate don't have access to that bike anymore but yeah they are pretty underwhelming on the whole. I would definitely tend to save my pennies for something bigger.
