- In 2021, I ranked every ride at Universal Orlando, including Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure. It's time for an update. From VelociCoaster to Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure to Revenge of the Mummy, here is every ride at Universal Orlando ranked.

universal orlando resort, often shortened to universal orlando in orlando, florida. following the opening of universal studios florida in 1990, nbcuniversal moved forward with plans to expand from a single park into a large resort hoping to compete with walt disney world. in 1999, a second theme park called islands of adventure opened in addition to citywalk, universal epic universe. the amusement destination was originally dubbed universal studios escape, but the name was short-lived and changed to universal orlando resort in july 2000. notable additions over the years include woody woodpecker's kidzone at universal studios, hard rock hotel and the rising star karaoke bar within citywalk, as well as the wizarding world of harry potter themed area, which spans two theme parks and significantly boosted attendance at the entire resort. it also features well-known annual events, such as universal's halloween horror nights, along with a variety of live entertainment and shows. universal orlando ranks as one of the most visited resorts in the world with an annual attendance of 21 million as of 2017. guests staying at certain hotels receive special perks such as early admission into the wizarding world of harry potter and universal's volcano bay. the original theme park in the resort, universal studios florida, opened on june 7, 1990, as a theme park that let visitors "ride the movies." the park is composed of themed areas and attractions based on the film industry. visitors get themed dining and shopping, a variety of special events throughout the year, and may even catch an actual film crew at work on the backlot. the themes of universal studios florida are making guests feel like they are on a movie set with rides, shows, and attractions inspired by popular film, television, and music productions. the park consists of nine themed areas - hollywood, production central, new york, san francisco, the wizarding world of harry potter - diagon alley, world expo, springfield, minions land on illumination avenue, and woody woodpecker's kidzone.
the second park to open at the resort was universal's islands of adventure, opened on may 28, 1999. it is composed of eight distinct "islands" that are themed to various forms of adventures from literature. visitors start off in the port of entry and make their way through the various islands - marvel super hero island, toon lagoon, skull island, jurassic park, the wizarding world of harry potter - hogsmeade, the lost continent, and seuss landing. the wizarding world of harry potter, based on the popular harry potter franchise, as well as skull island, based on the king kong 2005 film, are the only islands that were added after the park opened. hogsmeade opened to the public on june 18, 2010 and skull island opened to the public on july 13, 2016.
volcano bay is a 27-acre themed water park that opened in 2017. it replaced wet 'n wild, owned by universal, as the resort's water park. wet 'n wild was founded in 1977 by seaworld founder george millay as one of the first major water parks.
wet 'n wild was located at the intersection of international drive and universal boulevard, about half a mile south of the universal orlando parking garage. wet 'n wild officially closed on december 31, 2016, due to the opening of volcano bay. super nintendo world.
epic universe is slated to open in the summer of 2025.

Spider-Man is aging very well....still one of my favorites!...My favorites are: 1- Velocicoaster 2-Hagrid's 3-Mummy....And both of the Potter screen rides are very fun.

Interesting list. My favorites in no particular order are Incredible Hulk, Hagrids, Velocicoaster, Spiderman and Revenge of the Mummy.

This is a wild list. I disagree with so much at the bottom and middle, but I can't disagree with the top few spots. I did put Hagrid's at the top of my 2022 list, but as time goes on, I do think I prefer VelociCoaster, even if Hagrid's is a better ride overall. Good video, and even though I disagree with much of it, I respect your list.
The disagreements and reasons for doing so are what make this type of list so fun. Thanks for watching.
jimmy fallon is the worst ridew no cap
I think you were a bit too harsh on Forbidden Journey's placing just for its screens. The ride has the best queue and physical sets I've seen on a ride ever. The screens are practically used to save space in the building for the bigger sets and to transition throughout scenes while also keeping a consistent story.
I don’t know what to say, I just couldn’t bring myself to put it above the other rides higher on he list. I’ve never really been on the hype train for that ride.
So glad I’m not the only one that would take The Hulk over Hagrid’s!

I disagree. I don't suck up to Universal as much as others, but I still love the parks. I may criticize a lot of things, but I also give appreciation to a lot more small details that most others don't.

Would you consider ranking past and present Universal Rides like Dueling Dragon's, Woody Woodpeckers and whole list of others. To see were they rank in combination with the current lineup.
Sadly I haven’t ridden any defunct rides besides Woody Woodpecker and Shrek 4-D, so I wouldn’t make that list. I can tell you that Woody would go one spot about Flight of the Hippogriff and Shrek 4-D would be second to last.
Gringots should be top 5. And queue is a factor because you do wait for all these rides so that experience contributes to the overall. Ex: rip ride rocket queue is terrible so therefore makes the wait not worth it to me.
Studios is mixed park for me. I like everything besides the “rides” that don’t move and fast furious could have been good but the vehicle setup doesn’t work at all.

I agree with the whole list but I feel that Simpsons should be below forbidden journey and escape from gringotts the forbidden journey has a very “roller coaster” feel to it and personally I loved the spider part and gringotts just has such a real feel and is one of my favourite non rollercoaster rides but great list!

I lost weight to get on the best rides. Velocicoaster, Hagrids, Hulk, Gringotts, etc.

Some people don’t like roller coasters or prefer theming to thrills.
Next time I go to Universal I will try to go on the Hulk, cuz last times I was a bit too scared to go

I do like the simpsons ride and I don't get motion sick very easily, but as the ride was going it got very warm in the room and from all the motion my stomach wasn't feeling the best after lol it didn't stop me from enjoying the ride but I probably won't be going on that ride for awhile.

The only problem I have with this list is I would have switched spider man and rip ride rocket. Also if you listen to lose yourself it says snap back to reality when going down the first drop
That’s fair, both rides are pretty great. I always choose U Can’t Touch This on that ride.
Transformers definitely does not seem to have near the heart of Spider-Man. To me anyway

I both love and hate the forbidden journey bc of how much is scares the shit out of me (I am severely scared of spiders lmao)

really weird you had much against screens but rated the simpsons so highly. the screen was super blurry/flow resolution and the wait was forever. skip the simpsons guys!
I mentioned in the video that the fact that it doesn’t go for realism is a big plus because it effectively pulls of the Simpsons style while the other screens look uncanny on nearly every other ride.
makes sense, they repurposed I believe Back to the Future's equipment, so using it for a cartoon theme was probably the right call.@@ThemeParkAvenue
Also I don't know if you mentioned this, but Fast & Furious ride was extremely short, felt like it was less than 20 seconds long (after the night club part) @@ThemeParkAvenue
All the Universal Studios Coasters are fantastic within their own right Velocicoaster though is easily the best and is the definition of a perfect ride.

Velocicoaster isn’t even remotely short. It’s almost a mile long. And there’s no boring lift hill
Would be intrested to see what your ranking of all the worlds Universal Parks based on how they look and what coasters they have to offer.

Thanks for your comment! I know it’s called a queue so that was probably an enunciation error on my end. The #4 for Spider-Man is a typo.
Interesting list, Alright, Imma provide al little bit of Critique, (Don't take any offense to this just feedback) I go to universal like Pretty Often, I would agree with most of your beginning list, like most of the screen attractions are diffidently lower, with (personally) I would put Dr Seuss stuff, then the bus screen attractions, Minion Mayhem, Then I would put the Screen rides, where you move around, i.e.: Transformers, And Spiderman. next i would probably put the MIB and the new minions villian con attraction (Depending on how it is, im making it like this, because there probably will be high quality screens, and also some nice animatronics) Then Flight of hippogriff, Then i would put Simpsons, then forbiden journey, then that weird Jurassic park swining coaster, (I Rode it like 4 years ago and it provided great views of the park) And then River Rapids, and Do right. I would then put Jurassic Water ride (The theming on this ride puts it over the thrills of Do Right) Then I would Put Mummy, then Gringotts. (I know some people might not agree, but me personally i think mummy is an awesome ride, and the queue Is spectacular, but I Think that if they added more theming while you were going around the track then it would be even better, But i personally just like the theme of Gringotts, Like its a nice setting and you can only go wrong with harry potter sometimes, But i think the tilt drop is absolutely amazing) Then i would put Rip ride Rocket, I think just the thrills while banging out to some of your favorite tunes is awesome. Then top three would be hulk, It has great theming and an awesome intense ride. Then Hagrid, This ride is absolutely amazing, with 7 launches and a whole arsenal of elements, and unmatched theming, it has to be the one of, if not the best ride ever, like no wonder it took 350 milion to build, it is Just amazing all around and i diffidently thought it was worth the 5 hour wait when we went in like June 28 im pretty sure it was. Then Velocicoaster, I have Watched this ride go up and tuning into every update video i could find. I have not ridden it but i am pretty confident with the amount of thrills, combined with the amazing theming it would be pushed over hagrids. I love your videos and i love your content, keep up the great work.

Spiderman is my least favorite ride in the park, I find it low quality and boring and would rather ride the carousel! Can't believe it's #4.
This is a take I’ve heard once or twice, and it’s one I’ll never get behind but I do respect. I’m somewhat surprised you thought it would be low on this list since a lot of lists put it high up.
Well it’s 26 years old and very highly liked by almost all guests. I think most people would have it at least top 10

It was raining earlier that day, and I was surprised it happened. I doubt it’s regular and maybe I got unlucky. Just so you know, that didn’t impact the ranking.
Let me tell ya, when you ride Jurassic world in Hollywood, you’ll want Jurassic park river adventure to be updated! It’s so cool!!

Since it isn’t a ride, it’s hard to rank, but it would not get a very high spot. It was okay but unspectacular.

Not true, I have a positive opinion on the vast majority of rides. Outside of the bottom 5 or 6, the criticisms exist to justify the rankings.
