You are one among the few in India who can make movies that are on par with Iranian Movies. We saw bit of that through your movie Mahanadhi, Anbe Sivam etc which are made with a low budget and any viewer can show that movie to a person belonging to other countries with lot of pride. We really want to see that side of Kamal Hassan as lives are becoming terrible for producers making big budget movies nowadays.
Gotta be a joke. Kamal movies reeks of Indianisms or rather I would say Tamilism. None of his films have won international awards. Tamilians live in there own echo chamber. On the other hand, Adoor Goaplakrishnan has had nearly all of his films shown at Cannes, Venice and Toronto film festivals starting in late 70s. Kamal movies are nothing but typical Indian masala masquerading as High art. Real artists are people like Shyam Benegel, Mrinal Sen, Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Shaji N Karun, G Aravindan etc. Go watch high art Anbe sivam and call it on par with Iranian movies.

Are there any plans of recreating a magic with the Naayagan team - Maniratnam, Illayaraja Sir and PC Sreeram? (not a Naayagan remake but a brand new Don film as per current trend) 2. Are there any reasons for not working with Raaja sir? Virumaandi was the last movie. Are you reserving him for the best (Marudhanaayagam)? or he is not affordable? or you feel that his music will not suit your latest movies? Kamal sir, I am still worried why after KB sir and Balumahendran sir, no one from cine industry are ready to dedicate their time to do good telefilms or tele serials. It is very important to build the platform from the audience at home. Like it is said Rome was not built in a day, we cant expect audience to suddenly come to theater and watch movies with sincere content. I personally knew many people here especially girls watching foreign serials like Big Bang theory, Friends etc. I hope you will do it, as I believe you as a man who accepts technology rather than discriminating small and big screens. 2. Also, It has been a long time since I seen someone like my father or periyappa or sithappa on screen. I can proudly say as a kamal sir fan, kamal sir cinemas are 10-15 years advance than whole Indian cinema.

I personally think your best movies have been the ones with native stories such as Thevar Magan, Virumaandi, Mahanadhi, Salangai Oli etc., I would personally rate these native movies over the ones that cater to 'international' audience such as Dasavatharam etc., So do you think the audience would lose the connect if you start making movies with international themes such as Dasavatharam, Vishwaroopam etc.,?
