My problem with wood cutting boards is the contamination of using different meats

According to Sonder the wood is actually safer due to the antibacterial properties of the wood. I thought you needed to go through crazy disinfecting but the said hot soapy water is all that is needed to sanitize between different meats or even veggies.

I understand that these are made in China and then sold by the family in LA?

All the site info and ads on Amazon say "Made in the USA" I don't think you can say that if they are made in China and sold via a US company.

@@DadGotThis Just got my Highland board yesterday - very nice, well made. Not a burr on the thing and appears to be very well thought out. The packaging was incredible - hate to think about throwing it away!
