Of the great depths of beauty that pain can inspire. Of the god that lives within all of us.
Honestly, i think her singing is beautiful, granted its beautiful in a very specific aesthetic sort of way, but i love listening to her music. She rocks the voice shes got and honestly how could we ask for anything better?
It's about their childhood. In another version of this song, Bianca says "Simon" in the first verse. Simon is Sierra and Bianca's brother who commited suicide, so that's what the first verse is about. The chorus is about their childhood. The second verse is about their parents.

I like the deepness of the lyrics once you think about them more and understand them more but the voice just sends chills down my spine. Over all I like the song- it puts you in an ominous mood

Lightning strikes could be referring to abuse, as in “strikes”. “Pink hot flashes” could be referring to the phrase “red hot flashes” which means losing control of your anger. “We climbed the rocks in snow and rain” could be referring to the extent they went to to try to make their mother happy while she is in this terrible situation.
I think that “lemonade” is very significant though, and possibly refers to the problem always being there, as the lemonade is present even in the happy memories
