    I LOVE ♥️ the High Quality Design of this model. A few notes from me regarding my preferences. Yes, to extra porch roof. Yes to stable loft, add window up there too. Though I like the living room shelves, I would love to see the ikea style pull out pantry open towards the kitchen and still allow for hanging or shelving clothes. I like the under bed storage but I would like to see the top lift up on struts and have a solid mattress rather than Klicki klack sofa; split mattress in half so not so heavy to lift. Please add window in bathroom. Lastly, on front trailer tongue closet, I would like to see it wider, higher and beveled to cut the wind resistance. Whew!! ....... I hope that helps ♥️🙏🏻

    In this video it hides the toilet under the kitchen area, but you could put the toilet on the other side and the shower in view when you open the curtains, and use a door to seal the smells inside the wet bathroom, and thus use the space below the sink for storage. Folding/plyable desks/tables attached to the walls and tables/desks on shelf rails would also increase the usable space by quite a lot.
    Nowadays, the tiny house movement is becoming very popular, because of the eviction crisis caused by this pandemic. A 43 square feet (2x2m, probably 2m tall too, a bit taller on one side for water drainage) would be about the minimum needed to survive comfortably, even if you don't live comfortably, as a single person. Multiple people could live with a much smaller space per person, since you only need to add a bit more space for sleeping and storage.

    • @SapioiT
      @SapioiT 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Wet bathroom with shower and toilet, sink with a table-on-rails where a propane/alcohol stove would fit, a chest fridge/freezer for storage, a bed with a bit window on it's side and folding tables on the ends of the bed, a clotheshanger rail above the bed, under-bed storage, the window split into 3 parts with the top and bottom parts opening and a thick black curtain which to function as a trombe wall, and some storage, as well as more folding tables on the side of the wall next to the toilet would be enough to make the whole space easy to live in.

      In most videos owners (especially female ones) like to show how much stuff/crap they manage to cram into these tiny houses. This one by comparison, have a very uncluttered and clean look to it. Personally, I like the white walls and the spacey underutilized headroom in there. I wouldn't change or add that much. Just finish the remaining 10-15% left to do.

    I lived aboard my 28 foot long Carver express cruiser for a year or so with my cat. This tiny house is way bigger than my living area was on the boat, but the head on the boat was slightly bigger than the bathroom on the tiny house. I bought the boat near Wilmington and we took the ICW, to get back home to RVA. This tiny house looks like it would be more than enough space for me and my cat. I can't say I miss living in that tiny space, but I surely would not mind going back to live in a tiny space if it made sense to do so. It's good to see how many people are doing this in my area. I'm sure I will eventually build or buy one of these when the time is right. These things are killer!

    A hammock, floor cushions, cooler, porta potti and backpack of clothes may be sufficient. Include a folding shelf for a portable stovetop. Wash items in a basin with a camping shower bag on a hook. If everything is portable, the space remains more spacious and flexible for different activities. Add more windows to enjoy a view.

    Fantastic little design. Plenty of storage as well
    As for that ceiling space area, one thing that could be done is the bed above the bottom bed, fold down like mentioned.
    Now on the other side, take about half the width of the walkway below it, and about 8-14 inches down from the highest point in the ceiling, create a triangle boxed area from the door side till it hits the ceiling slope. There you have a nice triangle storage area, doesn't take anything away from the ceiling much either.

    I think the next step is creating a tiny heat pump that can cool you and/or your food. And heat the hot water or the space. And vents the excess heat. One unit integrated into the structure that wastes only what it absolutely must and performs double duty when needed

    I have a Relax Shack that I recently purchased for $1200 and I am in love. The man who built it did a very good job. He made the interior very nice, he used rustic wood and corrugated metal on the outside. It has a large porch which is where I spend most of my time just relaxing. It's very therapeutic. My little shack came with a nice size refrigerator, bigger than the one in this video. It also came with a nice stereo cd radio system with remote control and a bracket for a TV (but no TV) I think I could configure mine better, kind of like the one in this video so that I could add a narrow shower/toilet area. I also need a sink for a kitchen area. Mine has a nice counter with a window above it, a short Closet, and a fold down table, plus a cot with a mattress that stores on bicycle hooks on the wall. I think I need to gut mine and redo it like yours in this video. But mine might be a bit smaller than 60 sq ft. I will check when I get home and see. I wish I could share pics of it with you on here.Love your Relax Shack. It gives me so much excitement for mine.

    This made me think of making a tiny one in my backyard, it would be fun to live in, a good project and learning experience, and I wouldn't use as much electricity in my house as usual.

    Very nice and modern design. I will never get the idea of these little porches instead of making the cabin bigger, but i`m not an expert.
    We live in a 355 sq ft "palace" that fits our needs better, because we have to run part of our business out of our home, so we need a bit more space.
    But i realy like the craftsmenship and it doesnt look like one of these coffin style tiny homes.
    Well done. Thumbs up.
    Greetings from germany.
