jan ridders,i just want to ask one question,the valve pusher is totally free to move?because if it is free then may be theres is no compresion will happen becuse when the piston atemp to move out then automatically the valve will move also while the piston stil not reach the end of the cylinder.hope u get my point bro
As you probably know, vacuum engines don’t run on internal pressure, but from - as their name implies - vacuum. During the power stroke when there is a vacuum inside the cylinder both the valve and piston are experiencing a force towards the centre of the cylinder, however only the piston can move in because the valve has a push rod that acts as a stop, preventing it from moving in and wasting vacuum. Now as the piston continues to move in the cylinder and internal pressure starts to build, the valve will be forced out to release that pressure. Then the cycle repeats and the piston pulls the valve closed via the push rod. Look closely at the simulation in the video and you will see all this happening. Hope that helps! 😃

Dat gebeurt bij elke 2- en 4-takt motor met kruk-as. Bij stoommachines bestaat de aandrijving meestal uit twee delen, een rechtgeleiding die aan de ene kan verbonden is met de kruk-as en aan de andere kant aan een starre zuiger-as. Maar dat maakt de constructie veel langer, geen bezwaar voor stoommachines maar wel voor compacte motoren voor bv. auto's en andere machines.
How about in a heavy wind? I wonder if you can make one large enough to drive a generator. Somehow use a wood stove that produces home heating to also run this engine. That way you are using the heat twice.......
