@@kelsisaam4414 Wei Ying was the one who made Jin Ling's courtesy name, Rulan, which means, like an orchid. According to what I searched an orchid is one of the four gentleman plants in Han Chinese culture. It represent integrity, nobility, humility, and self-restraint which is definitely not a characteristics of the Jin clan but that of the Lan Clan. Its was like wei ying wishes for Jin Ling to become a young fine man considering what he has to experience with the Jin Clan, he wish jin ling would have good values and good virtues like what the lan wangji have. This shows how much wei ying favours, care, and admire lan wangji.
Sizhui on the other hand, was named by Lan Wangji, his previous name is Wen Yuan. Once wangji rescued him out of the burial mountain, he begged his uncle so Yuan can be part of the Lan clan and become his son. Since most pf the people were angry to any Wen during tha time he had to change Yuan's name, and he came up with sizhui which means chasing memories, a name that connects him to his past, to Wei Ying and him being the last Wen living. It also represents wangji's feeling for the 16 years of losing wei ying, his extreme longing for wei ying's presence
The one who explains it noted that Sizhui's name may be represented as lan zhan telling him to "seek for the past" while Jin ling's nameay be represented as wei ying telling him to "seek for the future" thus this two not only carries in their name the admiration and the feelings of lan zhan and wei ying but also the hope of the two for the future cultivators to be, more selfless, than the previous generation.

I don’t know why this series have some comedy scenes in it 😂 probably just me I can’t stop laughing on this scene they’re fighting like kids all tied up and just smuggling against each other when the ghost general carrying the sword towards those two dudes in red they both frightened calling out his name….ghost general….ghost general….poor them got all scared for nothing 😂

@@svetlanalvova1128 did you look at the reactions jiang cheng gave when he knew of core transfer , wei ying did not want him to be guilty or think that he was any less than others .and if you remember clearly those inspectors had killed wen ning and some other wens and were already planning on killing WWX and Wen Qing too , wen ning and wen qing did a big favour on him when they helped him and his senior sister and JC and he was exactly repaying that and saving those who were innocent . and about JYL 's death , do you really think that after losing every one close to him he won't want to see his senior sister who had just lost her husband .and he wasn't planning to confront them if you remember he was going back but all those black powers made him seek vengeance due to all the sorrow that he suffered .and after Jin zixuan 's death was he given any time to think about anything ?Wen ning , under the control of that other flute sound , killed jin zixuan and all the wens felt guilty so wen qing made wwx unable to move and all the wens went to get any punishment given to them so that wwx can be forgiven but Jins killed them and wanted to kill wwx too . wasn't it betrayal .
