Keeping my fingers crossed for both the health and move. I saw Laura’s new quilt like pattern in testing too and I’m already dreaming up ideas. I couldn’t do blanket club this time around, but I might do the last 6 months and make 6 quilt squares.
So glad the doctor can get you in sooner for you appointment! Hopefully they can get you set up with a medicine that works good for you and you can start enjoying the things that make you happy!! Your blanket looks great! Thanks for sharing pics from your trip. It looked so fun.
I love love love love love your ripple bralette. You and I are on the same wavelength. I am just finishing up the summer secret crop by her. I sort of want to try that ripple bralette now!
Sorry to hear about your medical issues. I hope you get answers and feel great soon. Your knitting projects were amazing but omg all your lovely yarn. Loved it all. I feel you - itching to get started when you have sleeves to finish 😅. It’s a great feeling when you know what your next cast on is. Finally, all the best with your house move. Huge disruption but worth it I’m sure xx
I'm sure I like you with or without your meds. I like that you speak your mind and share your thoughts without concern about what others may think about that because it's not that we want to hurt anyone's feelings, but that we deserve to have an opinion. And that opinion deserves a voice. Keep on podcasting and showing off those lively knits. I hope your hands heal quickly. I know you need to knit!
Thanks for the scenes from Colombia, beautiful pictures! I'm so sorry about your forced "retirement" from yarn dying, that's hard. But I'm glad you have some relief with the medication and hopefully your appt with the doctor will provide a path forward. You'll get through those sleeves! I'm trying to get through a poncho which sort of feels like a sleeve island but there are more and more stitches as you go! I'm also dying to start some spring and summer knits, but I want that poncho done.
Thank you so much, I'm cautiously optimistic that my appointment next week will get me on the right track! Good luck with your poncho, I *may* have cast on a tank top with my new Knitting for Olive yarn today instead of working on my sleeves.... 🤣🤣
I’m so sorry you had to quit your job. I hope the Rheumatologist is able to help relieve your joint pain. I so enjoy your podcast . Look forward to your return, after you get settled. Be kind to yourself during the move.
Hi Melissa, I am sooooo sorry to hear how hard a time you have been going through 🥺I was crying with you 😭 I am glad the meds are working and you’ll be seeing a rheumatologist soon. Take care 😘
I’m so sorry that you had to leave a job that you love. What a relief that you’ll be seeing the specialist soon. Nice pics from Columbia, loved all the murals. Do you know wh all the high rises are white? Can’t wait to see your new knitting space.
Thank you so much for the loving support ❤❤ The murals in Columbia were really beautiful, I loved them too! I'm pretty sure all the buildings are white for temperature control, it's just so hot there that anything but white would absorb more heat 🥵🥵
So sorry to hear that you had to give up something that you loved so much. Hopefully you will find relief to your symptoms soon and be able to return to activities that you enjoy. ❤
Hi Melissa, I had a question. During one of your previous podcasts, you showed the needle and cord holder you use. Could you tell me where you purchased it? It looks perfect and I can’t seem to find the episode where you showed it. TY
Hi! Sorry, do you mean the binder where I store all my needles and cables? It's called a Needle Binder and it's from Knit Picks, but I bought mine from Polka Dot Creek.
Your new yarn is so good ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Aww big hugs Melissa. I’m so sorry about your hands, and quitting your job. I hope you get some relief soon.
You had me at "or whatever that psycho calls it now"
Golden!!'😂❤
🤣🤣🤣
I love that blood orange color too!

@@stitchesbeslippin Yes, that’s the one. I looked on Polka Dot Creek and they were sold out. I’ll look on Knit Picks. Thank you,
