Welcome back. Congrats on the new place. Hope you are happy there. So glad you are getting relief with your hands and you are able to do what you love and what keeps you sane(ish) 😛
I’m so glad you are getting relief from your pain. Yay for medical science! I love the look of the Andrea Mowry sweater on you but I have to remember how much I dislike boatnecks on me. That big window in your knitting room! Wow!
Hahaha thank you for saying that about the F bombs! I had someone comment they just found me but could do without the cussing and I was like oh fuck no 🤣🤣
Congrats on your new home! I can’t wait to see your new craft room when it’s all finished, the big windows are amazing! Also happy to hear you got your arthritis under control, I can’t imagine not being able to knit or crochet! I call it my life line 😄 Have a fantastic time at Flock, hopefully you can still make it to Knit City Calgary? I’m very excited to go this year, it will be my first time. I have always wanted to go to Vancouver but never did so a bunch of us Yarn Rebels are making a weekend out of it. Take care😘
I'm on the porch wrapping up the last 1/2 hour of your podcast. And, you mentioned flock. I am buy myself and CHEESING so big. haha! It's hard to believe we haven't met in person. and OMG you have the perfect yarn for the tank.
Hi Melissa! I was thinking about you yesterday wondering how you’re feeling and how your move went 🙊 I am very happy you’re all moved in and feeling a lot better 🤗🤗 gorgeous projects as usual!!
I didn't know there was a Top Gun Day either until Monday! Any excuse for me to sit on my ass and watch my favorite movies is good enough for me though 🤣
Oh lady, we have the same Ravelry system. Looks good on the pattern picture, but go straight to the projects and OOOF not looking good on anyone else. Anyways, love that tank...might want your notes on that one so I can make one too. :)
I was on oral methotrexate for a year and a half, and it made me nauseated and gave me diarrhea, which got worse over time. I switched a month ago to the injections, and all the GI stuff went away! I wish I’d been doing the injections all along. Hang in there! You do not want the pills. They are also less effective than the injections. Good luck! ❤
Oh my gosh that sounds horrible.... I'm so glad the injections are better for you! My rheumatologist gave me an anti-nausea to take with my dose this weekend and if that doesn't help he wants to just switch medications entirely.
Thanks for checking out my podcast! I’d love for you to stick around but knitting and cussing are two of my very favorite things and I won’t be giving up either anytime soon 👍🏼
Nice to see you back. So glad to hear that you have seen your specialist and your managing your illness. Congrats on the move. Enjoyed all your knits.
Thank you so much!! 🥰🥰
So happy to hear that your hands are better. Thanks for sharing all of your projects. Can't wait to see the yarn room tour.

Thank you! I don't love boatnecks either, for this one I made the neck hole as small as I could while still fitting my head through it! 🤣🤣
So happy to see you back, missed your F bombs!! Glad to hear that your hands are doing better and that you are getting settled into the new house.
Hahaha thank you for saying that about the F bombs! I had someone comment they just found me but could do without the cussing and I was like oh fuck no 🤣🤣

Also, I got so excited when I heard "Yay Nicole!" and then sad when I realized it wasn't about me. 😂
I've been to apricot yarns! :) so fun! I have to know: Did you eat fish tacos in San Diego?
I forgot to say: I'm so happy you are back and yay! for feeling better and being settled. amazing news

Oh! I see. I’m guessing he’ll switch you to a biologic, like Humira. I’m so glad you are doing better! 😊

Sorry to hear about your arthritis but at least you know what was wrong with you and you have meds to help.
Thanks so much, you're absolutely right - it's a relief to have a diagnosis and a plan! 🥰
