Verisure Alarm NOT being monitored!!!

  • เผยแพร่เมื่อ 4 ส.ค. 2022
  • I'm renovating my house and the alarm system has stopped working on my kitchen door. After calling them x4 times, 40 minutes each time and getting a disconnection, I thought I'd trigger an alarm to see if they CALLED ME instead.
    To my surprise, they didn't even action their contractual obligations to call me and investigate the breach.
    I received a text with a number to call, which then tells you the lines are closed.
    AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

    Can only say as I find here. Around February time (2023) my wife set the alarm to "night time mode" that is we are at home with all windows and entry doors shut. At around 03:30am the dog wanted a pee! Forgetting she had set the alarm she opened the back door instantly triggering the alarm. Within 20secs Verisure was on the phone line saying they have noted a trigger. They challenged us for our password, and they gave us there's. We were asked TWICE if we were sure everything is ok when they were satisfied all was well the agent said " try to get back to sleep! please reset the alarm, good mourning and thank you for choosing Verisure. You might want to get Verisure out to test the equipment, but what in fact you were doing is triggering a false alarm.

    I have heard that with verisure. They don't call unless they are certain that it is a break in. When they see you through the cameras. They know that it is you that is meant to be there and its not a burglar

    Im gonna try and help you and your viewers see what's happening with your Verisure System.
    (I only want to help you and your viewers to see exactly what is happening)
    NOTE: I am not a Verisure Staff member, I only know things about alarm systems and I also got experience with their alarm system.
    1. 0:20 the alarm gives out error beep because there is a sabotage on a device. (you can see it later in the video because of the red led of the middle star of the Control Panel)
    2. 0:26 arming the alarm, not triggering it (you don't have to pass the star to arm it, only when disarming)
    3. 1:25 the alarm doesn't go off because it's just armed and you have to wait 3 minutes for a photodetector to trigger if you went near it, verisure fast alarm system
    photodetectors have got this strange thing that you have to wait 3 minutes for a photodetector to detect again, on the shocksensors (window & door sensors that doesn't happen). Theorically it should have gone off if the sensor was sabotaged (bug). Later that happens on minute 3:08.
    4. 1:45 the alarm system tells you that it's armed
    5. 1:57 the same ^
    6. 2:02 Disarming the alarm.
    7. 2:06 the alarm system gives out the error beep again because of the sabotage on a device.
    8. 2:11 arming again
    9. 3:08 now goes off because there is a sabotage on a sensor (you can see it later in the video because of the red led of the middle star of the Control Panel)
    10. 3:26 we can see clearly that the alarm is going off and there is a sabotage on sensor 5 of the system because of the red led of the middle star.
    Also the GSM LED ( the one of the upper part of the panel) that shows you the alarm is communicating it's not even on which is not normal. It should be green when its everything ok or flashing green when it's communicating. Since they don't contact you in any way there is some communication issue too I guess.
    11. 5:23 Disconnection of the alarm.
    Your alarm system has got a faulty sensor & the control panel probably is faulty too.
    The alarm GSM led is kinda strange that it's off, has it been always like this or you touched something?
    Do you receive communications through SMS or the Verisure App and can you interact with your system from there?
    If you don't want to continue with Verisure just change to another company or buy a DIY system. I can recommend you an amazing system if you want which can be controlled from you smartphone and with possibility to connect it to an Alarm Receiving Centre ONLY if you want.
    If you get it fixed I recommend recording & doing more tests so you have proofs about how they do their job & how the alarm systems works. These can help you dealing with Verisure.

      That was some explanation 👏

    • @Pepsiman1610
      @Pepsiman1610 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was a load of bulls*** that's what it was.
      Verisure alarms are a cheap, nasty Chinese GSM alarm. They do not follow standard BS alarm regulations even though they say they do.
      This is false insurance grading and this is illegal in the UK.
      Verisure can access the photo detectors at any point, regardless of the status of the system.
      Verisure can see whatever you're doing, whenever they want to see it. Again, illegal in the UK.
      Verisure have already been banned in multiple countries across Europe and the world since they are not proper alarms, they are false graded, dodgy spy devices that cost far more than a tradition and SAFE alarm system which actually protect you and communicate with the ARC no matter what

    Yeah Its A Faulty System, The Extra Internal Siren With The Lights Did Not Even Sound And The Alarm Keypad Upstairs Did Not Even Show A Green Light Between The SOS Button And The 112 Button When It Was Disarmed. I Have A Verisure Alarm But Its a SVK Voicepad Keypad Newer Than This And The Photodetector Flashed At You And Thats Mean Verisure Team Saw It And Knew It Was You With The Fob So Thats Why They Did Not Call You, When The Alarm Triggered The Light Between The SOS And 112 Button Is Supposed To Flash If The Alarm Is Triggered. So Clearly Your Alarm Is Faulty

    You have a few seconds of delay arming programmed in your alarm, either by default, by you or technical service. Once you exit and close everything. If you stay inside fooling around after arming it within those 15, 20, 30 secs, the alarms detect that foolish act and just don't go off. It wasn't expecting that from you. So, there you go, you messing with the alarm and have to handle the fire after.

    • @jarayalde
      @jarayalde 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So, it's a few seconds for you to exit, and then 3 min for the alarm to recalibrate with zero movement and properly arm itself. The reason is that many times, people forget about something and simply go back inside.

    • @jarayalde
      @jarayalde 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sabotage or Tamper signals. Even if the alarm is off, the alarm company gets those signals and makes efforts to cross reference with you and investigate to determine whether or not a technician is needed. People tend to forget about it or just don't have the time to make an appointment

    • @jarayalde
