I went to my first con last year and cosplayed as a character but I didn't expect people to actually ask for a picture so I wasn't prepared for it and just looked super awkward. lol
Lol yeah it happens to everyone I'd say. Next time you'll just be that much more prepared haha

Check the rules and guidelines of a con before you go! At the first con I went to, nearly everyone had to drop off their bag, because of restrictions of the convention centre. Any bag that could fit a manga was forbidden due to tripping hazard. This is pretty unconventional for a con, but still. It's always smart to check the rules before you go, so you don't get any surprises. Especially do this when you want to bring cosplay weaponry.
That's insane! But definitely a good point to check the rules!
@@SarahSunbeemz yeah. The con I just went to had very strict rules as well, due to a terror attack a week prior. See through bags only and no weapon props. So always check the rules, and another time before you go, to see if they haven't changed 😅
I've been going to cons for about seven years and cosplaying for about four and watching guides makes me nostalgic for cons. I really miss them.
They'll be back!! Just think how fun it will be when they are back haha that's what I'm trying to do.

I'm 12 and wanna go to one that's when I will be 13 but I'm scared that people will be mean and I was never to one and idk if my parents will go with me and I am not allowed without them and honestly I wish I could go there alone because it's gonna be so awkward when my dad and mom aren't that much anime fans and most likely they will be embarrassing me

I have never been to a convention before and I can’t wait to go to one ,I have spent the last five years experimenting with makeup and cosplaying without wigs and props , however recently I have gotten over that step and I’m in the process of not only writing a manga but also bringing the main character to life with a cosplay of her , I’m super excited to finish it and to debut her for the first time at a con

I went to my first ever convention and it was surprise surprise, anime Matsuri, I went in Ibuki Minds and I didn't expect to get any questions asked, I ended up spending over 2 hours in the same place taking pictures, giving out tips and signing a few pieces of paper, I guess my cosplay was really good 😰

I’ve only ever been to AX since I’m local to LA but boy do I miss going to cons. Missing 2 years in a row really makes me sad. But watching these videos is really getting me into that con spirit again. Here’s to hoping they have it in person next year and things get better :)

a tip from me dont back out if things get akwerd cause even if it is hard to get used to screming nezuko chan with a zenitsu costume while flying trough the air might be akwerd but when u do it its hella fun and invite friends

well i love to go in those kind of place but unfortunately we dont have those kinds of thing nearby my place and if somehow i manage to save enough money to go japan i will surly visit those place coz i heard that world best cosplay is in Japan and that was informative video but i would like to know one thing can u sell stuffs i mean u participate in cosplays so do u guys setup own shops there and i can imagine how u or anyone get exited from those cool cosplay stuffs and like a kid start sparkling over those action figures etc

We are going as Deku, Mina, Eri, & Uraraka from Mha and Tanjirou, Nezuko from demon Slayer not sure if the cosplays I just listed will be the final decision though

Hiii this video is a lot of help but I have a question or two, me and my best friend will be going to our first convention together this year and the questions are.. Does the age matter? and....Are we a loud to go by ourselves? Me and my best friend are both 13 and we sorta plan on going on our own just getting a lift and so we will also be cosplaying as Froppy and Uraraka from My Hero Academia.
I would double check your conventions policy in regards to age limits but you will probably be fine.
