    To me seeing such crystals form in a patter really does to me show me that there is a creator, I consider some times even the book of job which gives insight upon the earths shape, within that scripture it tells us that the earth is a sphere suspended upon nothing, floating through space.
    What also amazes me is that despite that book being composed nearly 4000 years ago, the biblical narrative had knowledge of the earths shape, despite being millenniums earlier then 🛰, and even before the invention of telescopes and, even before astronomers themselves.
    People at that period believed that the earth was suspended by animals, or some cosmic egg, but the Bible tells us that the earth 🌍 is suspended upon nothing, floating in space, which not only was accurate, but it was not the popular opinion back then.

      As a fellow believer in God the Creator, I'd invite you to modify your thinking a bit here. When you are watching an ice crystal form, you are not observing something that is being actively controlled or manipulated by any person or being -- not in the way that humans actively design and build things like chairs or homes. What you are observing is called "lawful self-assembly" or "emergent order," which means an ordered state (ice crystals, in this case) that is emerging or self-assembling, *without intervention from an outside agent,* from a disordered state (chaotic / randomly distributed water or vapor). Nature is full of emergent order, and emergent order -- not the intervention of an outside agent, such as God -- explains basically why we have the Universe. At this point, you may be a bit wary of what I'm saying and confused because I started off saying I believed in a Creator. The point I'm trying to make is that God did not have to intervene, and does not have to continually be doing so at every moment in the Universe for it to have been created and for it to function; rather, God established laws that allowed order to spontaneously emerge from otherwise chaotic systems, such as ice crystals from water vapor. All of that leads me to this conclusion: *evolution, the curvature of spacetime, photosynthesis, and other natural processes are neither proof nor disproof of God's existence,* except in the minds of religious fundamentalists who hold to only one way of interpreting the creation story in scripture, or secular fundamentalists who hold to only one way of interpreting the creation story in nature. In the end, natural phenomena -- whether directly created by a living being or indirectly created by established laws and emergent order -- provide humanity with a hint that there is intelligence in the universe. And if there is intelligence, then there is the possibility of a universal Person -- an Architect of all things.

    American atheist photographer Wilson Bentley, who took about 6,000 pictures of snowflakes for the first time in his life, realized that these snowflakes are not alike. Bentley, who turned the photographs he took into a book, wrote the following sentences on the last page of his book. It's like an artist performing his art. I now believe in a creator.

    • @ratratte

      Then who created a god? It must be a much more complex thing than a snowflake.

    • @kozdemutfak
      @kozdemutfak 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ratratte If someone had created god, then god would not be god. For example, it produces its own sunlight. If light came to the sun from outside, then it could not be the sun. So is God. He is a god because he has no creator.

    • @ratratte
      @ratratte 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kozdemutfak Same goes for the nature so, if someone created the nature, there would be no nature. And the Sun does receive light by other sources, like other stars! If you have a lamp lighted on, if you put it into a room with 1000 other lamps, it will receive some light from them, which can be easily seen if they are of different colours.

    • @kozdemutfak
      @kozdemutfak 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ratratte It is impossible for nature to come into being by itself. If you look at nature, everything has been created with very delicate calculations. Science says so too. From the number of chromosomes in the human body to the number of vitamins and elements. From the distance of the planets to each other, from the distance of the stars to each other.. Animals, flowers, insects, the sky wherever you look, everything has been created to a perfect measure. Now, if you say that these things happened by themselves, you will make yourself ridiculous. It is completely ignorant to say that even the simplest painting in your house has an artist, but that the animal or human in that painting has no real creator. Let's talk about the sun, the sun itself produces heat and light. Heat and light are released with the explosions that occur inside. Think about it, if you light a big fire with wood, how many days can you keep that fire without extinguishing it? But the sun has been giving off heat and light that way for billions of years. It cannot be by itself, it has to be a creator. Each star produces its own heat and light. You can't be without a needle master. A letter cannot be without a scribe. You know that a village cannot be without a headman. So how can this huge universe be unclaimed?

    • @ratratte
      @ratratte 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kozdemutfak It's impossible for a god to exist by itself as well, following your logic. The amount of chromosomes and vitamins? What? It's neither appearing to be calculated nor logical, it's just an amount, it can be any and varies greatly from one organism to another. Moreover, there are flaws and imperfections in plants and animals, for example the human eye. It's far from being perfect and it has some unlogical elements, like requiring the brain to flip the image vertically. If it was created by a thinking being, let alone perfectly thinking being, it would not have such a flaw. Another example of an animal flaw is the extreme human proneness to scoliosis and flat feet due to the gravity. And it's you who are ignorant and acting really uneducated. The Sun makes the explosions due to heating condensated gas it has as its body, and it *will* actually end and the Sun will stop shining, just like any other star. The only difference is that the Sun is a giant star, so it has much longer lifespan than other stars around in close proximity. However, there are many stars like the Sun in the galaxy, it's not unique. Not to mention that even small stars still give heat and light, that's why we see them from the Earth. And again, if the nature can't exist by itself, then a god can't exist by itself either.
