And when they get to the blue liquid, they're just like, "Mmh! Dis sh*t good!"

For the ants drinking blue liquid, it’s really fascinating to see their stomachs turning blue.
That was their social stomach, they feed I to other ants. The blue stuff is gell nesting and very poisonous.

@@abmlr_productions9801 yeah, it's meant as a semisolid germicide, but it also kills the ants that eat it. So, not the best nest.

Am I the only one who was so fascinated by the egg time lapse?? The way it cracked and formed strange holes is so weird to me, I wonder why it does that.

I think watching these helps me get over my fear of mold lol. Helps me understand that is just a part of life and its a obvious mark that something is definitely expired lol.

True. It’s nothing scary. It’s just a reminder that there’s other things out there that love sugar just as much as we do. It’s my fault that I don’t eat something before it expires, so at least the mold can enjoy it haha.
Mold can actually be weirdly beautiful, as these timelapses prove!
Try thinking of mold as dyed fur that things grow, like how people shave and hair grows back, food is kinda shaved and then the hair grows back. Or go with the person with the paragraph above me

The blue bodies is their social stomachs getting filled with, what is pretty much pesticides. They think they are helping the colony, but they are making it incredibly dead.
