the share audio feature is very good , i have a pair of airpods 3 and a pair of first gen pros, but both of them is missing one side , and with that feature , i can have sound on both sides
You can tun on noise cancelling on one AirPod in Settings > Name’s AirPods > Accessibility > Noise Control. Perfect when listening to music when laying on a pillow 😊

Many reasons, like 1 - Compatibility: Think of it like a key and a lock. Apple’s AirPods and certain Beats headphones have a special ‘key’ (known as the H1 or W1 chip) that fits perfectly into the ‘lock’ (the Share Audio feature on iOS / iPadOS). This ‘key’ allows these headphones to work seamlessly with Apple devices. Non-Apple headphones don’t exactly have this ‘key’, so they can’t unlock the Share Audio feature. While, on the surface they seem the same, it's different under the hood, like the specific audio codecs (AAC) and the firmware, common cheap Bluetooth headphones don't have the required things needed for this. With AirPods, they are programmed to support audio sharing, by cutting down on some features, and giving less processed audio to each pair of AirPods, but cheap or common BT headphones will not be programmed to do the same thing, and therefore, can't support other headphones. 2 - Ease of Use: Apple wants to make things as easy as possible for its users. With AirPods or Beats headphones, you can share audio just by bringing the headphones close to your device. It’s like magic! This is mostly not possible with non-Apple headphones, as they lack the programming and hardware chips that are used in AirPods. 3 - Quality Control: Imagine you’re baking a cake. If you use your own ingredients, you know exactly what’s going into the cake and you can make sure it tastes great. It’s the same with Apple. By limiting the Share Audio feature to their own products (AirPods and Beats), they can ensure everything works perfectly together, and provide a high-quality experience. Sure, this does give Apple a competitive incentive, but this allows Apple to make sure you're experience is under their quality standards that they control, and make you more immersed.

yep! if a notification comes in and you don’t want to be disrupted, just say “stop announcing for an hour” or something along those lines and siri will take the hint and switch off the feature for an hour.

Why does Transparency Mode frequently and randomly turn itself off on both pairs of my AirPod Pro 2s? I use them as hearing assistive devices but without Transparency Mode they are useless!

Dear Apple, thank you for great innovations you brought to market. I 'd like to share my sadness for my Airpods Max Head Band Color change. Although i didnt do anything wrong my white head band corrupted and it turned to yellowish partly. I brought it to service but they didnt help and told its not under warranty. I do not ask for warranty, i d like to buy new headband.. Greetings from TR!
