Great effort. Pimania was an oddball game but it had a prize of a Golden Sundial worth £5k or something. The winner had to meet at a time and place to win a year or two after release - think it was on that white horse on side of hill in Yorkshire or Northumberland that someone won it. I do wonder if prizes like these are still out there, probably sitting forgotten in someone’s attic.
Oh my god Pimania!! Good lord that game brings back some memories, one insane but of software. Mel Croucher is a genius and also a bit tapped............(Anyone ever meet the Pi man at computer shows?? if you did that memory is burned in your brain forever!)
Thank you for releasing the secrets.
Shame Manic Miners secret wasn't Jet Set Willy.
@@chrisshaw451 Yeah a sad miss for sure.
Great work CB! I’m thrilled to get Cybernoid even if Jet Set Willy would have made more sense! You did well to work out The Hobbit too!
@@SteveNorman No idea why I tried The Hobbit.. total fluke really.
It's a shame playing Skool Daze doesn't unlock Back 2 Skool.
Speccytastic! Thanks for all your efforts CB and PiMania is a fantastic addition. Keep up the awesome work and all the best for 2025!
@@jayme69 All the best and cheers for all your support!
Cheers for that. I'll be spending a few more hours on mine again today unlocking these 👍
That saved me some time...thankyou

Excellent ❤😊
Can confirm, typing the word "save" on the Hobbit works.
@@barneeyebay lol excellent. I had typed "WEAR RING" first so wasn't totally sure which word unlocked the new game.
Hats off to you sir! I almost typed save in the hobbit but then I thought, no just use the game states, doh!
@@PigDogBay Total luck. It was just an idea that came to me whilst researching the game.
Yep I did the same, 30+mins and 60+mins playing all the games, weekend went in a flash.
@@retro-robbo lol crazy eh. No idea where my brain wave came from to try the hobbit. Blind luck. Or skill. Yep it was skill lol
Cheers :)

Missed out on the Spectrum! Might be wrong but sure I read there will be a restock of this in March? If so, this video will come in handy.
@@pjmlfc05 Keep checking all the time.
The only two I found myself were Freddy Hardest (FH2) and Horace... neither intentionally, just stumbled upon them.
Can you select the levels in Manic Miner, when the boot appears after entering the code?

Didn't know there was a hidden part of thses games. What about Horrace goes weeing.Any hidden parts.?
Is this additional to the 48 games?
@@Felix-Sited Yes added extras
@@CrazyBurger Nice, I got one for Christmas but haven't had a chance to use it yet!
There's a Wikipedia page about Pimania. It was a treasure hunt for a *real* object
Please correct me here but I think PiMania came with a £20,000 prize if you cracked it
Locking away Cybernoid of all things is a bit of an odd choice!
Yes it is save
@@gazzercolt Excellent thanks for confirming!
