Congratulations on your lovely finishes especially the Twisted Rainbow Sampler. I have that one in my rotation and have enjoyed seeing your progress. Your fingers were definitely flying In July with stitching on 11 pieces and having so many finishes. Thank you for sharing your pieces with us.
I really enjoy your episodes:) You projects are beautifully stitched and I have similar tastes in patterns, Have a great trip to Las Vegas - stay cool!!!
The Halloween Quaker looks great. I think I have only finished the upper left corner. I need to get it out again. The Soda stitches are so cute. The rainbow color stitch is so pretty. Safe travels and lots of stitching!
@@aussiestitcherintexas1600 I look forward to your progress. Will be interesting to compare my mini to your full size as we both progress. We can be each others cheerleader for this one 🥳
Another fantastic video! And thank for the tip on the Halloween Quaker!! I have this on my list for the end of the month and was just getting ready to kit it up. I love the look of Fancy Floss but have noticed the same thing with colors lately. I will definitely use DMC! Would love to know what frames those are on Amazon! Have a great trip
Congratulations on your finishes. Love the Halloween Quaker. It's definitely not worth the price of fancy floss for just a few stitches. I love the Quaker Flags, I'm doing the Canadian one. I'd love to know how you get your Mirabilias in PK.
Love your projects….especially the soda stitches patterns. The backstitches have kept me away, but i may try one now. I have several full coverage patterns and interested in trying the cxc threads. Who do you order thru and how do you let them know the threads you’ll need since there are so many of them…. Rita
The back stitching on the Soda Stitch patterns really isn’t as bad as you might think so please give it a try. For the CXC floss, I’ve used oneroom and WUYU2 store. I usually just message them and tell them I need to make a big order and they’ll send me an excel sheet to fill in which colors and how many, after that they have sent a link for the payment and it’s all good!
I do cross stitch. But am just getting back into it after a long time away. I see all these videos where people are doing it differently than we used to. We never had all those threads hanging down. And a lot of people seem to have what appears to be large graphs drawn on their fabric. Do you, or anyone else have how to videos on this technique? I was gifted almost twenty kitted patterns some simple, some very elaborate. My stuff so far is done the way I was taught many years ago and I end each thread on back of fabric. Which I am sure you are doing as well. Even a couple of terms are different than anything we used to use.
Teresa little stitcher has a playlist of tutorial videos on her channel. The gridded fabric is called easy grid which is fabric that is marked in 10x10 squares to make counting easier. The lines are supposed to wash out at the end of your project. The threads hanging down is called parking where you do some stitches and then travel your thread to a stitch further away and “park” it until you work closer to it. There are a few types of stitching that I know of, royal rows, cross country, typewriter, but I stitch like you still!
Teresa little stitcher did a series on full coverage cross stitch and she goes into some of that. I can’t think of anyone else off the top of my head, but a search on TH-cam should give you a few options.
Wow that's a decent amount of stitches 😮, I'd love to be able to stitch that amount. The rainbow band sampler looks beautiful 😍 sorry was it just the normal cross stitch one or was it the speciality stitches one? Soda stitch pieces are so cute! I've got a Christmas village piece to do but it's a paper pattern and like you I'm now spoiled with PK. Alternative reality is growing quickly, I've tried doing royal rows but those parked threads really annoy me
Thank you so much! For the twisted rainbow sampler it’s just the cross stitch version. I tried the specialty stitch one and gave up pretty quickly. Only PK for me now. I find it worth taking the time to use charting software to make a paper pattern digital.
Congrats 🎊 on your finishes! Have a wonderful week and happy stitching 😊🪡🧵🤗🤩
Thank you Theresa!
Alternative Reality is amazing! Your Rainbow Sampler is lovely. Great stitching this month. 😊

Bring it out again! It was great to work on.
My goodness you’re doing Autumn, I’m doing the mini. I haven’t seen anyone else stitching it before. Can’t wait to see your progress on it 😍
I don’t see anyone working on it either. I’m going to try to keep bringing it out to get through the background and get to some interesting parts.

I really hope you do decide to work on Persephone! I'm currently kitting her up, and so excited to start her once I finish my Cinderella castle.
I’m hoping inspiration will come back. She is a beautiful piece.

Thank you! For the Mirabilia’s I used stitch fiddle and manually charted it in. Takes some time but worth it in the long run.

@@aussiestitcherintexas1600 which software do you use?
Stitch fiddle. I can’t always get the symbols to match the pattern but I’ll just pick something similar if that’s the case.
