Deep Blue by Ian Clarke | Performed by The Meadows

Deep Blue, inspired by the ocean and whale song, is a haunting and intensely emotionally-charged composition for flute and piano. It was written by the contemporary composer Ian Clarke, who is pioneering extended techniques and opening up a whole new and exciting world of sound and texture for the modern flautist. We have had the privilege of getting to know Ian really well through masterclasses and he’s a thoroughly lovely man. :) Here is Melody on flute accompanied by Fantasia on piano performing Deep Blue during our Wales Air Ambulance concert at St. Teilo’s Church in Llandeilo.

Love it.. have not heard this one from Clark yet. I’m just trying Hypnosis now. I just have one question … how long does it take to dry your hair?!? …..Oh my gosh I see in comment you play pearl flute. I was considering getting one and have not heard many that play it, great I guess?
