I also recently got back with the "ex" too I took a 2 year break cause I got burn out i guess, now got my self a SS01 B.E.E Assault Angels Model Kit, RG Evangelion unit-01 and Figure Rise Standard Kamen Masked Rider Black model kit. I'll be busy this coming January.

The closest I got this year in the mecha genre, is pre-ordering the Transformers "Missing Link" Cliffjumper. who was originally my first ever Tranformer back in the day, so it holds a lot of nostalgia for me. (Despite looking IDENTICAL to the original, it has added articulation, die cast parts, some accessories & collector card.)

I accidentally got myself something like this, not realising how much work there would be to paint it. It was very disappointing. I will see how this one goes by definitely not my immediate type of product I would try.
