By far, this is probably my favourite table. Because it is a seductive temptress with it's custom tokens. I still have my collection of SAFE CRACKER tokens, photos of which I have uploaded my Google+ Albums. I would have spent literally hundreds of dollars earning them. Really hope that the guys at Farsight Studios have one of these lying in the halls waiting to be digitized into The Pinball Arcade.
The 30-second intro is irritating and unnecessary, the guy looks like he's being forced to talk about this at gunpoint, and the camera position is terrible...the players heads obscure the flippers.
That upper flipper is *key* to extending the time on the game. And the drop targets.

The tokens for this game must have caused some indecision among players. Keep them or put them back? My guess is put them back upon running out of quarters? (Or for the REAL players who learned about some "Assault Mode.") Great report Croooow!

Looks like a game that is complicated at first but can be mastered eventually.
Game needed a bit of GRC "fine tuning." We noticed too, as you found out! ;)
I hate working on this game. If you don't have small hands, it's NOT EASY! Pat Lawlor packed so much under that playfield it's just amazing to see!
Side note: When you make an error on my computer you hear CANDY moan!

It should never be someone's only pin. But when you own 8 to 75 of them... why not. :-)
Yeah... The right slingshot rubber (&/or switches) were a bit out of adjustment & was phantom firing. "Ooohs & aaahs" are apparently slingshot noises... "MAT" noticed & made a minor adjustment at the start of his ball #2. Consequences related to featuring pins that are not "ours."
Were the slingshots supposed to fire during the 'board game'? I also noticed they seemed to fire way sensitive. Is that just 'how safecracker rolls'?
Hehe yeah I don't like short flippers myself.
And yes Cactus Canyon will be a treat for sure.
I was lucky enough to play it at the PRGE this year along with a bunch of other rare pins.
Even had those not serviceable EM pins there or at least according to some repair guys. xD

Couldn't miss it PBR. Misbehaving slings are annoying! As far as mastering this game.... ??? It has them little short flippers making it "different" to play. Not personally drawn to spend much time playing this pin. Prefer next week's Cactus Canyon! ;)

When I first played this machine, I didn't know you could put the tokens back into the game to start 'Assault on the Vault' So I had about 20 of them.

jim does have a youtube page, but only a couple videos on it. whirlwind johnny t2 and a couple others.... :) we film my nice collection of pins in unfinished basement one day
