Adorable! Love the simplicity and speed of the video. I get impatient watching super slow talkative tutorials. Btw the racoon looked like a Puffin before you added the black around the eyes and now I'm inspired to make a Puffin they are sooo adorable.

Where i live they dont sell any of the materials needed for this 😭 i really want to make some. At least i can watxh your videos they are so relaxing 😊❤
You could always buy the materials online! My area doesn't sell these items either, so I had to buy them online. At the moment I'm only able to find them on amazon, but I wish there was a cheaper alternative since the shipping fee is just so expensive. But yes, point being you can buy these materials online. They might just be a bit pricey :))

You are such a genuine and generous artist. There are many artists who charge exorbitant prices for tutorials. I wanted to know what kind of needle you use for felting and does just felting different parts of the body hold together or we need to stitch or use glue? Thanks!
Thank you! Check this out bincbonc.com/tools-and-materials-for-needle-felting/ for tools and materials I used. Yes, just felting with needle will connect both parts. That's the amazing thing about needle felting, no glue or any stitches needed.

I used Hamanaka. I bought it in the local craft store here. There are sellers who sell this and ship it worldwide. You may check on Etsy and search for "hamanaka watawata" and they provide different colors as the base. Mine is beige.

I’m a newbie to this craft. Can you use extruded polystyrene foam to felt? For example, I wanted to use this material for the inside/skeleton of a character so I can incorporate clay features - felting around the clay.
Hi ♡ I haven't actually seen the extruded poly foam but if that foam has similar texture like the foam part (yellow one) in the sponge dish, I guess you can make it. But if it is harder than the sponge dish, I guess it would be hard to needle felt on it. Use something similar to the foam in the sponge dish or you can use quilt batting to do so. Hope it helps 😊

I used burlap fabric and stuffed it with quilting batting mixed with some scrap wools that I cannot use anymore 😁 hope it helps.

I have never felted but I am just wondering why you didn’t use black wool for the tail rings, hands, and feet instead of sharpie?
Should I say...I was too lazy to felt on small area like that? 😁 it is not hard to felt on the tail but if it is not done properly..it looks bad with the visible loose fibers. One of the purposes is just to give an idea if we can color with Sharpie.
What is your work pillow stuffed with? The foam board I bought is already worn out.
Unused wool 😄 but trust me it feels bad to work with. I still prefer the foam one.
This is exactly what I was looking for. My only problem was the very end. I could not tell how she was adding longer fur, I am very new to the art. Vidio was a little to fast. I will watch over and over till I build confidence. What a great job. Thank you
hi. I stroke the raccoon with my felting needle to the direction where the fur grows. Repeat it again and again and the longer fur should appear
You can also use a reverse needle for a furry effect. It pulls a bit of the wool.

hi! I bought it in the local craft store. This size is 12 gauge and if you search online, the keyword "aluminium craft wire" will lead you there. It has many colors like pink, red, etc :)

You can find affordable starter kits on Amazon, eBay, AliExpress and Wish! Depending on where you live some websites may have cheaper options, specially regarding shipping. I bought a complete starter kit with 7 needles and 50 small packages of wool for roughly 14 dollars on AliExpress 😁
Also if you have any big crafting stores near you I'm sure they have the materials!
