I bought this same bag several years ago and it is still awesome. I have recently found I need a slightly smaller version of it and today purchased a Man Bag Dammit because....SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!! Thats how good these Nutsac 'thangs are.
The one thing I don't like about the product is that it doesn't have a pen or cable pocket, but I like the idea you put your wired cables in the zippered binder.
Obviously you've never worked with leather. Even with a razor blade is incredibly hard to slice through leather, on top of that you're gonna have to make it through the leather and waxed canvas. If someone was actually trying to slice their way through the bottom of this bag you would painfully know it was going on.
No I have not worked with leather but I have been to Paris and on our first trip (it was a tour) a lady had the bottom of her purse sliced and the contents taken. I have a man bag from NutSac and it is very durable.

Does the bag have a separate sleeve or compartment for a tablet, or is it just tossed into the main compartment loose?
Just in the big compartment, I have the iPad in a case so it is protected

Thieves, in theory, could slash the bottom of any bag.
