Absolutely the wrong time of year to go to Multan, or any place in the South of Pakistan 😕 Summers are hellish there. The best time to visit there is between November and February.
I'm feeling sorry for you guys, but I think as a foreign tourist and guest, your security is more important than anything else. But I think foreign tourists should be free to go anywhere but unfortunately security is hurdle. Love for you, beautiful couple from Bolton United Kingdom.
good security protocol, you must chat with public for their views about you and other. It will be great time to spent over here for you and for viewers to watch. By the way you are lucky that visiting these places, it will be more informative for you why people love them if you read about them and can explain viewers as well as content.
Things are slightly better in Multan now I believe , since your visit . The England cricket team and fans have been playing matches there recently and roaming around in touristy places. Having said that, it's important that any foreign tourists in such cities be properly protected , as it's close to the Baluchistan area and the Afghan border , where fighting is going on against terrorists from hostile neighbours.
As Multan is regarded as the shrine and dates back centuries it's very hard to update security and the city is sacred to a lot of Pakistanis, so a escort is just to secure that and I hope it didn't ruin your day
@@muneebhassan8236 it’s true but I guess we were just a bit taken by surprise having to have a police escort and not being able to roam freely like we enjoy to do usually
Love from Multan Multan govt fears alot Multan is safe just some thieves which are like every city in Pakistan abundant in Karachi That is Kabootar Mandi (pigeon market) only 2 days friday and sunday at Dawlat gate area which you guys are referring chicken market
Its free! Take it 😅 And I was told not to walk the Detroit Water front after sun down by a cop, so you should always be aware of surroundings no matter where!
Yes always got to be aware of your surroundings. We’ve been to major cities in Europe where pick pocketing is a serious problem. Thankfully, in Pakistan, we had no issues with our safety at all 👍
BRO, you should surely go to watch a CRICKET MATCH while you are here. The NEW ZEALAND team is here and they will have 5 matches with PAKISTAN, the first is done and the other two will be in RAWALPINDI and the last two will be in LAHORE. It will be a really fun experience and I REALLY REALLY recommed it. Anyways enjoy your time in PAKISTAN. STAY SAFE, ENJOY THE FOOD and HAVE FUN !!
We do go to a cricket match in Lahore so keep an eye out for that vlog 🇵🇰 🏏 it’s such a great experience going to the cricket in Pakistan as the fans are very passionate!
Very cool video thanks to the police I wish I had been escorted by the police,it’s not dangerous at all because your foreign they are giving you especial treatment a way to show there hospitality,I’m from Uk visiting all over Pakistan without security, was safe felt safe all hours of day/night
We felt safe the entire time as well! The only danger was getting invited for too many cups of teas by locals and running out of time to explore 😂 such an amazing country 🇵🇰
Pakistan is incredible, so diverse and the best hospitality! It does seem the UK is a bit miserable at the minute I agree! Fingers crossed that changes 🤞
You guys seen more than i have lol. Ive just been out with my husband and his 2 brothers to the shopping mall. He said its for my protection as im British and refused to take me to the market 😔
@@AshAndDan. Exactly, I'm not currently in Pakistan its my last exp lol, planning to go in November, its way too hot for me now. I hope u guys enjoy the journey in Pakistan❤
For local experience, you should seek a native dweller of that city who roam around with you, I think you won't need a police escort in Multan if you know some local there. So for best experience go with a local. I'm talking about cities other than Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad and gilgit-baltistam
I think we would do this next time. We only found out the night before you need an escort as the first hotel we booked rejected us. I think the experience would be better with a local although the police did look after us 👍
I am sorry for the hassle you went through. Multan is not a modern city. Authorities are super careful about the safety of foreigners. I can't blame the police here. I think all policemen behaved in a decent manner especially with Ash 👍 Its still an interesting place but you dont get the basic freedom here so its a bit frustrating.
You are right at the end. Multan is overall safe. I think there are a few gangs here & there. There is no terror related threat but authorities are just so ultra cautious which is completely absurd. Its an ancient city with incredible history & culture.

However since you have left already, I can only hit my head against the wall 😢... keep the northern vlogs coming. 😊
Yea...I didn't like the idea of a security escort. It kind a defeated the purpose of free spirits roaming around. Probably the local authorities were worried about locals getting over excited, when they see caucasians. Better safe than sorry,I guess!! Any local food videos coming up??😀
I think that’s the reason why the escort is needed. We still had a good day, but it is nicer to roam around freely. There is a food vlog coming soon as we visit burns road in Karachi 👍
