Agreed! I hate that we can’t get these times back . I knew the reboot wasn’t going to work out with the way they were trying to spin it just playing themselves. I also understood why they weren’t interested in doing an actual reboot getting back into those characters. The show was only meant to be seen as kids growing up trying to find their ways in life. Plus i Don’t think they would’ve had a-lot to work with as far as creating that drama they were so good with coming up with , with them all being mature and grown adults. Damn I wish there was a Time Machine !

Still shocked he died from a stroke God always takes the good ones and now Shannk with cancer. Life was great id go back in a heartbeat,
I cried when I heard he died. I still cry here and there when I watch old re runs of B.H. but it's even more sad seeing him in interviews because you get to see the real Dylan off screen. I named my son Luke, but not after Luke Perry. I was only 8 when B.H. started but watching it in the mid to late 90s as a teen. I could relate more, still do in a way. It's the best teen show because it covers all the teen and family issues.

And one month before his death, Luke and Shannen were talking about a project that they could create together. And Luke also admitted that in the past, they threw Shannen under the bus. Luke Perry is well spoken and seems so chill and genuine. Shannen looks gorgeous and is so bubbly and happy. always smiling and laughing. awesome to see them all together

I was just finishing hs and starting college when this aired. I was not into it at first then i think during the summer a girl had the epiosodes on tape so we starting watching it. Then every wednesday night it aired on the dorm room tv and all us girls watched it and anyone who had a date with guy was also forced to watch it too. Anyone wanted to watch something else on tv forget it was BH 90210. It later seasons yeh so i can remember where i was when this show was on. Later seasons not so much.

As a 42 year old, this show was a big part of my "childhood". Looking back at this now, seeing Luke Perry gone, I only feel saddened over how my life didn't at all pan out how I hoped. Relations like these is what I have dreamed of all my life, but none of the people in my life (aside from mother and sister, after my father pasded away in 2016) are real friends in the sense that they can not be trusted. I have no "best friends", only a throng of people I am friendly with. Does anyone feel the same way? The future was better in the past.

I'm disconnected from people that I went to school with since I don't have a Facebook, or any of the other popular social media. I grew up with Beverly Hills 90210 and remember watching the pilot when it was first shown. I never really watched the latter half of the show in the late 90's, but I love this reunion episode and saw it when it first ran.

It's heart broken one of the cast, specially Luke Perry he was the bad boy and the most loved on the show, I'm so affected by the show growing up. And I was a loyal fan and I don't have no interest in watching any other shows trying to immited the original Beverly Hills. I always Google them often to see what they have become. Just week before I dreamed Brandon Walsh death week before this I wake up first thing in the morning I checked my phone Google it, I said it was just a dream thank God and i told my husband he thought I crazy, since my teenage I still feel them. My husband announced me the news by phone from Boston "do you know your actor died" I just turned to my computer for hours looking back on his life. I felt as if it's my family member who passed away. I love them all. Rest in perfect peace in heaven. Amin!

Like Dylan McKay, "the Fonz" was not in the original cast but added because they needed a 'rebel' character to complement the pure sensibilities of the lead character ("Richie"). And like the Fonz, Dylan McKay's character and actor became more popular than the lead. Thankfully, Dylan remained the 'bad boy' whereas Arthur Fonzarelli became a library card totin' father-figure. However, they did both become investors in the food-service industry. LOL

Shannon was hot. Unfortunately, the chemo has no ravaged her body, and while I hate to say it, will probably claim her life. I just lost a friend to cancer. She went into "remission" (which is a joke) after Chemo, because once you have cancer, you almost always die from cancer because most people do not address the underlying cause. Modern medicine suppresses symptoms and radiates the body further destroying the immune system which is typically what significantly contributes to the problem. When the immune system is weak, disease ensues. Chemo just destroys it.
I was so mad when Brenda left the show, & her and Dillan didn't end up 2gether, that I refused to watch it after that. I also wanted Brandon & Andrea to end up 2gether, but Kelly & Brandon would've been perfect too. I lived 4 this show EVERY WEEK till Brenda left.
Brenda and Dylan were the life and soul of 90210 when they left it was never the same, even when Dylan returned in 1998 it was never the same, notice how this documentary had Shannon in her segments away from the rest of the cast, it was clear that she was the main star to begin with

I used to watch this show when I was in high school in Japan. I am 43 years old now. The school life in Beverly hills is totally different from the one in Japan. It attracted me so much and it made me to think I want to study English in University. Now I am having a little English school and teaching English to Japanese children. Thanks for your posting of reunion.

I really happy to see Shannon Doherty part of this. She never returned on the show after she left after season 4 but I understand the circumstances on her departure and how she was backstage. But I'm happy 10 years later she put that behind her and heal all woes in reunited with her cast friends for this special moment. Sad that Tori Spelling and Brian Austin Green was unable to appear on this 10 year reunion. Then this reunion of 90210 would have been more memorable. Still what a great reunion it was.

Without a doubt. The greatest theme song in television history! No question. I swear to God I watch this Hulu or Netflix and play this song over and over. I’m even watching seasons 1-10 again. Only Seinfeld and the Twilight Zones were my favorites over 90210. I’m only twenty so I didn’t get to experience the true 90210 but watching it for the first a few years ago was awesome. I was their age in Italy when the show started . We grew up together. I fell in love with LA with the show and at 24 I moved here in Los Angeles. All because of this show.

One of the weirdest saddest things to see now is the episode of brenda having a breast cancer scare 😢 and she was so young to have that storyline i always thought back then
I think it’s nice to see that despite all the media attention regarding Shannen’s, supposed irrational behaviour on set and the fights they would have, that they’re all sitting there and they look like they have respect for one another. I’m assuming a lot of the fights were between the girls anyway and not necessarily with the boys. They seem very happy to see one another in this reunion. I also saw a video recently where Luke admitted to Shannen being “thrown under a bus” whenever there was tension.
My Dad would watch this with me and now that I’m 46 I really miss those days. I think 90210 resonated with our Gen X bc we were going through the same things as the cast in real life. Maybe not at the same time.
Listening to Jennie and Tori about how a huge piece of the group is missing and they feel it. Seeing interviews like this, Luke really was the personality and most outgoing of them...

As an old GenXer, I can say that the reason this show was so popular was because of how attractive the cast was and the chemistry they had. Plus, it was a form of reliving some of our fantasies of being a nobody attracting rich somebodies in a glitzy neighborhood. Who doesn't want to be hobnobbing with the rich and famous and being noticed by them? Brenda and Brandon were the epitome of the American dream. They were the center of that series and they made a dent over there in Beverly Hills of all places.

I was born in Feb. of 1980, so I was a teenager of the 90s and I pretty much grew up with these guys and girls and had my crush on Kelly Taylor, (got her autographed picture somewhere!) and aspired to be more like Brandon Walsh, relaxed like Steve Sanders and cool like Dylan McKay. I liked David at the beginning, he was funny by using his camera and when he was rejected by the group !When he danced, sang !what I didnt like is that he changed with Scott when he began his relationship with Donna ! Later, it was Dylan but Brandon is a good example, mature, down to earth, always struggles for justice but didnt find his real MATCH!his real girl ! Miss 80s and 90s !it was our generation !Im from Paris and even early and mid 2000s were better than 2010s in term of music !The show was not the same when Shannen left !

It's heart broken one of the cast, specially Luke Perry he was the bad boy and the most loved on the show, I'm so affected by the show growing up. And I was a loyal fan and I don't have no interest in watching any other shows trying to immited the original Beverly Hills. I always Google them often to see what they have become. Just week before I dreamed Brandon Walsh death week before this I wake up first thing in the morning I checked my phone Google it, I said it was just a dream thank God and i told my husband he thought I crazy, since my teenage I still feel them. My husband announced me the news by phone from Boston "do you know your actor died" I just turned to my computer for hours looking back on his life. I felt as if it's my family member who passed away. I love them all. Rest in perfect peace in heaven. Amin!

Like Dylan McKay, "the Fonz" was not in the original cast but added because they needed a 'rebel' character to complement the pure sensibilities of the lead character ("Richie"). And like the Fonz, Dylan McKay's character and actor became more popular than the lead. Thankfully, Dylan remained the 'bad boy' whereas Arthur Fonzarelli became a library card totin' father-figure. However, they did both become investors in the food-service industry. LOL

Shannon was hot. Unfortunately, the chemo has no ravaged her body, and while I hate to say it, will probably claim her life. I just lost a friend to cancer. She went into "remission" (which is a joke) after Chemo, because once you have cancer, you almost always die from cancer because most people do not address the underlying cause. Modern medicine suppresses symptoms and radiates the body further destroying the immune system which is typically what significantly contributes to the problem. When the immune system is weak, disease ensues. Chemo just destroys it.

I was so mad when Brenda left the show, & her and Dillan didn't end up 2gether, that I refused to watch it after that. I also wanted Brandon & Andrea to end up 2gether, but Kelly & Brandon would've been perfect too. I lived 4 this show EVERY WEEK till Brenda left.
It ended the way it was suppose to, whether shannon stayed on the show or not
And Andrea and Steve... They had a good chemistry.
Brenda and Dylan were the life and soul of 90210 when they left it was never the same, even when Dylan returned in 1998 it was never the same, notice how this documentary had Shannon in her segments away from the rest of the cast, it was clear that she was the main star to begin with

I really happy to see Shannon Doherty part of this. She never returned on the show after she left after season 4 but I understand the circumstances on her departure and how she was backstage. But I'm happy 10 years later she put that behind her and heal all woes in reunited with her cast friends for this special moment.
Sad that Tori Spelling and Brian Austin Green was unable to appear on this 10 year reunion. Then this reunion of 90210 would have been more memorable. Still what a great reunion it was.

Without a doubt. The greatest theme song in television history! No question. I swear to God I watch this Hulu or Netflix and play this song over and over. I’m even watching seasons 1-10 again. Only Seinfeld and the Twilight Zones were my favorites over 90210. I’m only twenty so I didn’t get to experience the true 90210 but watching it for the first a few years ago was awesome. Now I’m watching it again. I LOVE THIS SHOW! Brenda and Dylan were my favorites.

I think it’s nice to see that despite all the media attention regarding Shannen’s, supposed irrational behaviour on set and the fights they would have, that they’re all sitting there and they look like they have respect for one another. I’m assuming a lot of the fights were between the girls anyway and not necessarily with the boys. They seem very happy to see one another in this reunion. I also saw a video recently where Luke admitted to Shannen being “thrown under a bus” whenever there was tension.
The girls are all envious of Shannen because she got her Dylan and also the juiciest parts of the show making her be noticed of her acting prowess,
My Dad would watch this with me and now that I’m 46 I really miss those days. I think 90210 resonated with our Gen X bc we were going through the same things as the cast in real life. Maybe not at the same time.

I was Such a HUGE 90210 (ORIGINAL) fan!!!! I watched EVERY episode EVERY week!!!! Waiting weekly like a "soap opera" to see what happened the next week literally. Thank you SO much to the cast, the creators, to Everyone on 90210!!!!!
As an old GenXer, I can say that the reason this show was so popular was because of how attractive the cast was and the chemistry they had. Plus, it was a form of reliving some of our fantasies of being a nobody attracting rich somebodies in a glitzy neighborhood. Who doesn't want to be hobnobbing with the rich and famous and being noticed by them? Brenda and Brandon were the epitome of the American dream. They were the center of that series and they made a dent over there in Beverly Hills of all places.

I was born in Feb. of 1980, so I was a teenager of the 90s and I pretty much grew up with these guys and girls and had my crush on Kelly Taylor, (got her autographed picture somewhere!) and aspired to be more like Brandon Walsh, relaxed like Steve Sanders and cool like Dylan McKay.
I look back intensely fond and nostalgic on those days, the show, the cast and characters. They were like family and friends. :)

Oh Luke is so sweet with Shannen... it is obvious that all that gossip that they did not go along well was only a way to keep audience attracted to the show. In fact they were close friends until the end!
