Venice Beach, which receives millions of visitors a year, has been labeled as "a cultural hub known for its eccentricities" as well as a "global tourist destination". It includes the promenade that runs parallel to the beach (also the "Ocean Front Walk" or "the boardwalk"), Muscle Beach, and the Venice Beach Recreation Center with handball courts, paddle tennis courts, a Skate Dancing plaza, and numerous beach volleyball courts. It also includes a bike trail and many businesses on Ocean Front Walk.

I heard California has bigger waves than the East Coast (New Jersey, Florida) but those waves look puny like in the Gulf of Mexico or something.
Thank you 🙏, that was fast ☺. As it so happens, I volunteer, though disabled, at a local Ashram's food distribution pantry every Friday morning. I help set up, then I am actually one half of traffic control, then we break down and do a ton of recyclables. We, then, have ten or twelve shut-in's that food boxes are made up and delivered and we bring an animal box or two, or three, of produce wastes, too the local farmer. This morning, in upstate New York, it was 10°, with strong biting winds, and a wing chill of -14°. Yikes, that is fourteen below zero for three and a half hours doing traffic guard duty outside, in it 😨. Though I was plenty prepared, and have plenty cold weather gear and experience, from my working days. The good news we average about one hundred families a week, (A "family", in this case, can be one, or a couple of seniors, a single person, or a family of twelve, or whatever size, and boxes are made up appropriately.). I just think in my heart, just imagine how many children that, that may be, maybe more than a hundred, and that is just fantabulously awesome! Not that feeding seniors is any less awesome, too. However, am I ready for a three hour soak and the best part will be strolling with you on Venice. Peace out, and LOVE too everyone. Because, LOVE is what I got; I said...
