Thank You. I was able to complete this encounter on my 2nd attempt. I can confirm that the counter doesn't matter once you have started the boss encounter. Another thing to note is that I died during the boss encounter, and when my game started, I was at the same level of progress for the boss encounter. Good luck, everyone.
@quadkopter, wait, so if I manage to get to the final boss, I can just take my time and finish the quest without having to lock in or possibly die a lot?
@autotunedfarts alright thanks for the extra info. I guess this Quest isn't as hard as it seemed well. Maybe cause I gotta face 3 bosses before the final one, but I'll get through it.
@@SymbioteSpiderboy yeah the quest is very doable with the bugged timer lol. the only thing i'd change from the vid is to use a shards of galanor build if youre on solar hunter, super uptime goes nuts and blade barrage does really good damage on the bosses
I’ve yet to see anyone do this, BUT lion rampant titans make the beginning a complete breeze. Instead of using eager edge to skip the platforms to get to the wall push you can just titan skate past the platforms, skip the elevator AND skip the boop platforms as well. Been helping randos in the LFG and perfected it to where I can get to the first blight room in under 2 min. 2:25
Thank you so much for this video! I have never played the mission before, and being a solo f2p player , this video was so helpful . I managed to solo it on my second try , without polaris lance , using sunshot and eriana,s vow along with a lunulata with rangefinder and headstone, sometimes switching to a solar scout rifle once in a while. eriana's vow was such a godsend, it could take out those pesky wizards and shielded enemies with ease, and also did decent boss damage if you had radiant, helping a lot in those sections when I didnt have any heavy ammo or super.
I didn't beat it on Legened onpy normal once and was able to slot in the catalyst Whispered breathing and the extra reload - I quickly added it to my crafted one just in case it's a bug LOL
The death holes with one right path could be a reference to Halo custom games... There was a Custom Game where you had to walk up an incline with all sorts of junk coming at you, you had to dodge it all to survive, then at the very top are a bunch of teleporters, all of em kill you except 1... If you chose the wrong one, you started all over lol
Wasn't the Whisper Catalyst available when it first launched? Or am I crazy? Because I feel like I should already have it. There was definitely something about shooting oracles in a certain pattern...
Yes it was. The players who got the catalyst back then doesn't have to get it again. They can just go to the enclave and apply it right away after getting the schematics for whisper.
You’re not supposed to solo it for your first time? I’m trying to use the fire team finder to play presage, but it said I need to beat this mission first, and I don’t have friends that play destiny
Another BUNGO masterpiece in doing the most boring stages I have ever seen. You spend more time jumping into nothing and in the end is another boss with adds on meth jumping on you to try to overwhelm the player. I can't wait to see SONY dismantling this joke of a studio.
Thank you! I absolutely cannot stand their obsession with running and jumping mazes and how they think that is considered some special hard encounter. No it’s just boring and annoying
@@UnsoughtLyric i know my stengths and weaknesses. and D2 is def not the game for me. i tried it for a long time and i never got good enough for non-trivial missions.

If you make it to the final boss within time, the timer seems to just stop at 0 seconds but doesn’t kick you
yup! thought i was cooked bc i had like 5 seconds left when the timer ran out but i was at the final boss and ig it just doesn’t kick you then lol

Note: if you spawn in all bosses at the same time and kill them there is a triumph
You also don't need to do this in Legend - it counts in Normal.

Can also shatter skate on hunter past the opening jump puzzle.
I only got Polaris Lance and the catalyst last month. Very glad I invested in that weapon.

Has the whisper been buffed? Beautiful weapon but ... worth the exotic slot? Its mission is my favorite in Destiny.

If you have the catalyst done or not on the of then no you don’t need to do legend for it. Legend I think is required for the quest to get traits.

If you already had the catalyst you don't get it again, but you still need legend for the other perks

Make sure you talk to Eris with each character. I talked to her with my hunter and soloed it with my Warlock and had to do it over.
