She has no Olympic gold but she's the most popular and well known skater during her prime. Her legacy continues up to this time.
I think what Belinda wanted to say was that this was her first season wherein all competitions she entered she did the 3flip. The previous season she was still doing the 3toe until Nationals; it was only by 2000 Worlds where she did the 3flip.
