The viva went very well, mostly granular questions, examiners congratulated me on the quality of my work and were enthusiastic about my publishing two of my chapter in journals. Bad news is they want major corrections during 12 months, and having seen their report am doubtful that the new research and topics they require is possible for me, so am in limbo. My supervisor and I both deeply disappointed, my unviversity says no appeal. Examiners have final say. I had a scholarship for my topic but examiners want a different topic! Am quite fed up but hoping I can find a way around this all.xx
