Her mother's name was shelly harris nelson, her murderer, Jeff nelson. you can find article on it, my friend was the at the time five year old, it's horrible and disgusting what he did to her mother, as she now has to live with her aunt and uncle through the foster care system. I hope this can spread some awareness.

Having grown up in Bradford, hearing about the crossbow cannibal again gave me a weird wave of unsettling nostalgia. I have forgotten about that whole story and tried to keep my distance from it as I was in very very early teens at the time and it wasn't exactly comforting to know that this kind of things was going on in a place I called my home.
Having since moved away and grown up I had forgotten all about it, so it's interesting to know what really happened, even if it's still super uncomfortable to think about.
