I have watched 20+ hours of these streams solely to listen to Mike scream at the game. I chuckle every time he gets creative with it. Mike, please tell me you have some other outlet for that rage those games build.
Wario games are amazing and unlike mario games of nowadays he still is true to his original gameplay mechanics and style. You really have to try more out if u havent played any cuz thats nuts.
Mega Man V on GB is one of the best GameBoy games. They lowered the number of “Robot masters” so that they could make the game itself better. The graphics for example are NES quality. It looks great and the sound too! Anyways, one of the best games on the GameBoy and one of the best Mega Man games.

There is definitely something irrational going on with Nintendo neglecting the Mario Land series. Even look at all the recent main Mario games, Bowser is always the villain. Where's Tatanga? Where's Wario? The first thing that came to mind when the Mario Galaxy games came out is _"Tatanga must be involved"._ *Nope,* it's Bowser again! Wario would have been a better fit as the main villain in Odyssey instead of Bowser. They're making Bowser a lame villain if they keep on cramming him into every possible villain role, it even harms Mario's role as a hero. Even though they combined all their development studios a while ago, Nintendo acts all forgetful about the Mario Land series. I know many higher ups in Nintendo were impressed by Link's Awakening which is probably why that game got a color remake (and now even a Switch remake.) I think Link's Awakening is okay but I really feel the Mario Land series should be more important.
@@Thievishaura Since it's like a Metroidvania it would be difficult for him since he prefers the classic style Castlevania and he said he's not so great at Metroid games with all the stuff to remember and such(which is what Symphony of the Night is like), but we'll see.
This is definitely the easiest Mario game. It's not hard at all. But it's an enjoyable romp, with one of the best 8-bit soundtracks ever, including arguably the best Mario end-game theme lol
Looks cool. Thanks again Mike. There's a well done fan remake of Super Double Dragon called Legend Of Double Dragon you should check out. The brothers have many new moves and there are a few tutorial videos to watch to teach the button combos to do them. The game maker strove not to make them too hard. There are some demo versions out now if the final version isn't yet.

I sort of agree. Though it was early gameboy game and much was still in the works. You think they could of fixed the controls because its so stiff its like its playing on a calculator

You should give the fan game SMB X a try, there is a mod for it that recreates Super Mario Land in 16 bit as if it were remade for Super Mario All Stars

There is a neat trick for Super Mario Land. If you are big, you can jump slightly higher by crouching.

one of the levels in the Moon world in Mario 2 for gameboy is almost a shooter format. Could call it more of an 'avoider' tho.
