    I am glad I found this video again. I tried this with a supper fine tile grout and it looked just like ready made products. You can't keep it too long even in an airtight container but you have a day or two. I mix as needed anyway as I can now afford to have SO many different textures and colors. I even mix Talc/Plaster/Grout/Baking Powder/Coffee/Tea/Etc. until I get the perfect consistency for whatever I am working on.

      That was going to be my question if there was a way to keep it usable after the initial batch, bummer

      @@alessandromone9313 One of the thing that I love about TH-cam's channels or social media groups/communities dedicated to this hobby is that you can ask everything you want about it and someone will reply you exaustively and maybe with new brilliant ideas or solutions. 🤘🏻😉

      @@alessandromone9313 If your using tile grout (I use unibond floor tile adhesive and grout for wooden floors) mix in thin PVA glue and brown play paint. I store mine in an old coffee jar and it is usable for months. Also I "stuff" the grout into an old empty brown squeezy original Hi-Tack very sticky glue plastic bottle and use it as an applicator. Again it stays usable for months. Try it out.

    I'm currently using either ground coffee (I dry the used stuff I grind daily...) for coarser and bicarbonate for smoother paste. Wood glue and some acrylic paint to 'base' the base. I've also used some small amounts of other additives, like matte varnish or sand in it, but basic is best. You can add sand, gravel, stones and all little things on top of it before it sets and it doesn't crack. Have to try the baby powder/talcum powder next to see how it differs from bicarbonate! Thank you for the information!

      Thanks buddy! Usually more than a month...I use to put my paste in some Ikea tupperwares that are quite cheap and convenient for this purpose. In case the paste it will be a little bit dry after a few weeks, I reactive it with a few drops of isopropyl alcohol! 🤟🏻😉🍻

      Ciao. 1) baby powder (talco), vynil glue (wood glue) and sand. 2) plaster, vynil glue ( wood glue) ans sand. 3) just adding some acrylic colors to obtain different effects: mud, snow, dirt etc. I hope that it helps in some way. 😉👍

    Hi, looks pretty cool ! does it stay "wet" as long as the vallejo ? or do you have to use it quickly ?

    • @magicdicemanufacturing
      @magicdicemanufacturing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks man! Well…in my opinion it depends by the size of the area that you’ve to cover! For example: a miniature base it requires like 5 minutes to dry…a terrain base like a standard house 32mm scale, it requires 15/20 min to dry so you have enough time to add some stones, details etc.
      I hope that I’ve answered pretty clear to your question! 😅👍🏻🍻

    I use vallejo products a lot...their pastes then, are great for sideburns...there is one problem though: if you don't use them for a long time (after opening and using them) they tend to dry out. Do you know of a method to avoid this? (Besides sealing the jar tightly).

    • @magicdicemanufacturing
      @magicdicemanufacturing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sometimes I use Vallejo pastes too…I usually pass a light layer of silicone (the same kind used in plumbing) inside the screwing spiral of the cap.
      This seals the container but you'll have to do a tiny bit of force to open it back up. Nothing impossible. 😉👍🏻

      I feel sorry for you! I really do.😢
      I can understand and respect your disappointment about the music in my video but at the same time I love music in all its forms and for me it is not only necessary but VITAL! 🙌🏻
      I suggest turning down the volume or turning off the sound, the video has subtitles and the content is quite simple and clear.👍🏻
      Enjoy your viewing 😉
