Question for Takashi, do you find her inatractive for not being skinny? Please don't be kind just tell me the truth if you can. I want to understand the mind if japanese people.
There’s a specific face shape they like. My sister and I were chatting with a woman who turned out to have been a model scout in Japan and she told me I’d be considered beautiful there (possibly a model) if I lost weight. My sister-who is very attractive by American standards and was in fact a model at the time-was not told this, lol.
Being white is a novelty. People like novelties, but many people don't want long term relationships with one. All the same, many Japanese think skinny blondes are super hot, but not every Japanese wants to date one. Japanese society really follows societal trends and patterns. Being bigger is different, and being blonde/white is different. Different is usually undesirable for a long term relationship. I don't think what this girl is saying is incorrect, but it's definitely not easily understood and is without much necessary context.
she has a Blonde superiority narcissist complex. It's clear that not everyone like Blondes. They are the closest to male genetics and very few males want that. But women will like her
Femininity isnt to be sacrificed like obviously. The woman who do over excessively excersize and artificially inject testosterone yeah those are the toxic im staying away from. If i could mandate all humans to excersize the world would be a much better place and to get all general male testosterone up 1 billion notches the world would also obvious be a better place. But then I'd be the Hitler of excersize and anime anti hero character that forces people to eat healthy so nevermind id turn evil at sight that i can force someone to run 10 miles a day. I have honest truthful intentions but everyone assumes the worst of me because i think morally gigachadly scientifically based. "CORRECTO amigo now lemme fire these misslies at another 16 year old" - every president that made a war in the middle east ever. Or any human anyone ever.
If you think it is hell to live in Japan then you've clearly never lived in many countries lol. Low crime rate, housing is cheap and plentiful, great food, great culture, people are generally really nice and respectful of others. Work culture used to be what everyone quotes as being terrible but when US works longer hours and has less days off in a year I'm not so sure. Besides you can work for a foreign company in Japan with Western work culture. I've personally lived and worked in the UK, Norway, and SK -- can tell you that while other countries in that list may have qualities I really like, overall I would choose Japan every time.
@MikeProductions1000 Generally speaking 99% of foreigners in Japan don't speak Japanese at a proficient enough level to garner them better jobs, that's not a Japanese problem, that's emigrating to a country you don't speak the language problem. The justice system definitely could do with improvements for sure but, again, low crime rate means most people will never have to deal with the justice system in any serious capacity. Of all the countries you could have named, naming the US, where is incarcerates the highest percentage of its population in prison is not doing you any favors lol. Japan incarcerates 37 out of 100,000 of its population, the US? 629 out of 100,000. That an incarceration difference of 1600% Get you head out of your ass and stop parroting shit you see online.

@@phlasaban I get that Japan is not for everyone, especially if you're more social person for sure. Not all work environment is the same so if you're unlucky you could work at 'Black' companies which don't respect their employee's time but most major companies have gotten much better. If you're a foreigner in Japan, you always have the option to work for an international company with international work environment so it's not like there isn't options in Japan. But if the foreigner doesn't have marketable skills beside being able to speak English or do basic low-skill labour, that is not the fault of Japan.

@@xdlol59 Your statement makes no sense. Being "rare" has no connection to attractiveness. There are many RARE and attractive African black women all over the world. But I am sure you are not speaking about those women, just white women. Asia has a thing for white skin.
My sister (white, VERY thin, black hair, fair skin, green eyes, 5’9) worked for a Japanese modelling agency for years. She would get approached in the streets daily as if she was famous because of her appearance, in Osaka. Her agency had strict rules like she could NOT get a tan, at all, couldn’t gain weight, get freckles, dye her hair, etc. One of her coworker friends gained a few (3-5) pounds and they actually cut off her weekly allowance so she literally couldn’t afford food. It’s brutal over there. Beauty over everything. Her friends bought her food btw. And have her these pills to make her loose weight so she could get money again. Edit: to all the people with the “they chose to be in this/so hard to be pretty” attitude, you have to understand that most of the models are children. I cannot speak about Asia, In India, the beauty standard is very Complex. Hotter Parts of India like a little bit fairer-skinned girls and boys. I am from the North, We like tanned and sharp features girls. But definitely not skinny. Me personally. I have lived in Canada for 5 years. I find tanned skin 5'4 to 5'8 feet girls with dark hair will be my ideal Choice. "Meenakshi Choudhary" and "Ashwariya Rai" for India and in the West only hot temp regions like South Italy "Monica Bellucci" or Spanish - Cuban Actresses "Penelope" and "Ana De Armas". I find blondes not attractive at all. Too white is boring. Blue eyes only look better on dark hair girls, not blondes plus most blondes have male-type genetics and don't age well as compared to indian and Asian girls.
Omg that’s so true about the hair length!! I never realized but she’s so right. Most girls long is considered above the boob. Or people get shoulder length. But in the US long is like pass your belly button!
As a woman who is definitely not in the American beauty standard but who lives in the US, I have a LOT of men interested in me and I think every woman would if she put herself out there in the right places and was looking. There is a huge diversity of men and what they’re interested in, even in a small homogeneous country like Japan! Don’t worry too much about what “society” wants from you, just find people who you like and who like you.
I went to Japan super super skinny in 2018 and I could fit in clothes perfectly, but then I started weightlifting religiously and couldn’t fit into ANYTHING because my proportions are now super hourglass and I have a large booty. To be honest, people weren’t that judgmental and whenever I told people I weight lifted, they all thought it was really cool. I actually joined my university’s weight lifting club, which was all a bunch of jacked Japanese guys, and it was super fun. I deadlifted 100 kg at a club deadlifting contest (just for fun) and all the guys started cheering. 😂 I was the only woman too. 😂 Japanese guys that are into fitness tend to prefer girls that are into fitness too, since “macho” guys aren’t the beauty standard. I guess it also comes down to having things in common as well. I did feel a decent amount of pressure to fit into the beauty standard, but then I realized that they’re stupid and it’s brave to genuinely be yourself since a lot of people feel like they have to fit in. I feel like everywhere but Tokyo really appreciates that. Tokyo is just very uptight and everyone is supposed to look perfect and pristine, whereas you go to Osaka and everyone is dressed way more casually and wears jeans and tennis shoes, etc. I don’t plan to move back to Tokyo when I return to Japan just because the atmosphere is lowkey toxic and you really feel the pressure to conform.
I travelled japan back in 2017 (mainly the south) but never was in tokyo very much. So I was confused about a lot of stereotypes out there. This year I was in Tokyo amd felt so uncomfortable and i realized that a lot of stereotypes are very tokyo specific. And since this is a place where most foreigners are at this is most of what people hear from japan.

The only reason why you have the device to complain about a false notion of capitalism, is the free market itself, the will and ability to profit. Of course it has many problems, like monopolies, etc. it isn't perfect, but without the will and ability to profit, only elites would have those devices and an infinity of other things.

Did you get yet that "will to profit" is a made-up "need" that capitalists made in order to gain from the excess amount of work that made you do?
@@md55773 "You don't force them physically, you force them economically" Girl, what are you talking about? In the communist regime you are forced BOTH physically and economically to accept their freedom controlling system in the name of a distorted view of "democracy". Capitalism is not even a good enough term, since it was popularized by the communist Marx in a very biased way. The correct terms would be "free market". The free market is the idea that you have the right for example, to plant food in a terrain that you own and then sell it if you want to. Go to the Heritage Foundation's index of how free the countries are and notice how the ones with a freer market are way more prosperous economically AND in terms of HDI than the ones not or less economically free. Why the free market (or "capitalism") is a natural system? Because even BEFORE money existed, if you went to hunt animals for food, but you needed water, you could find someone that wants food and have water, so you could be happy giving that person a portion of your food and the person could be happy giving you water. It's just that simple. The thing is that, people came up with money so they could attribute value to it and then be able to used it to trade for other goods without the need to give something they aren't able to give; for example if they don't have much food that they can use to trade for something else, they can use money instead. How do they get money? Maybe helping the people who possess the tools to hunt if they don't have the tools, so when they have the money, they can use it to buy anything they want, including the tools to hunt their own food for their own consumption or for selling, and later hire their own skilled people to hunt for them, creating more jobs and so making the whole society prosper and have more food or whatever good they want to sell. That's where the will to profit starts, because with more money you can by more things, so the idea of "how do I make more money" gets to the conclusion: "by finding or creating something that the buyer will attach enough value of any nature to but it". Things don't have intrinsic value, WE the people attach value to it and that's the only reason a person can sell a product. But that's where problems will start to occur too, because if there's zero regulation it means you can literally sell ANYTHING for money or exchange it for something else, for example poisonous food, heavy drugs that not only affect the user but turns the user into a threat to society. That's where the idea of a state that will regulate those things will start. The state itself brings a whole new pack of problems, like something called metacapitalism, which are giant capitalists who align with the government through politicians in order to change the state laws in a way that will create difficulties not only for small businessmen or small companies to compete with them in the same market, but also to prevent them from growing at all. Not to mention the cartels. Policies like abusive increase of taxes and making it hard to even start a company of that specific market, only hurt the small companies, the small entrepreneurs; the giant ones, specially the ones aligned with the government, will take the hit, but they are giants, for them it's a scratch on the foot. So the communist states and communist governments are masters in creating privileged metacapitalists, they also never go fully "no private property" for too long, never go fully "Karl Marx communism", because they eventually run out of othe people's money. It's not capitalism that is creating metacapitalists, it's the state and the government. Remember, neither the state much less the government produce wealth, they can only ALLOW for wealth to occur or they can COLLECT wealth that YOU created. Also the minimum wage, something many people think should be as high the everest, is something that hurts small business and poor people if taken that way, because it's set by the state that in order to hire somebody you have to pay that person a fixed number that is of course also stipulated by the state, mostly by people who don't understand how business work. So what happens is that, if you live in a poor area and you want to start a very small business and hire a person that lives there to help you, you'll be forced to pay the exact same amount that a giant company will pay just to hire that one person, and since you can't afford it, you'll simply give up hiring the person and the state will be responsible for screwing a job that was about to be created, screwing a poor community from growing economically and being more independent from the government "goods". And there's more; EVEN if you, by your own self, manage to grow economically working alone, when you're finally able to afford paying somebody the minimum wage stipulated by the government, you now will want something called qualified labor, because since you'll pay high to hire someone, you'll try to find the most skilled person possible that will accept your offer so you can keep pleasing he high demand for your product. And there is where the state created an even worse problem: If the area you lived is too poor, it means very little qualified labor and that means you'll hire people from places where they were raised with money enough to pay for training of the things they plan to work with, which means the poor area you lived will remain poor BECAUSE of the STATE and or the GOUVERNENT and the other areas where your employees come will have more money because of you, not the state and gouvernent. More money, more people pursuing the exact same dream of creating a business and eventually making the whole area even more prosperous. The state and government should be there to prevent abusive environments, slave labor and criminal activity in the market, not to become so controlling that they do more harm than good. It's really simple to understand that. "Ability exists without the "need" of profit. Naturally we don't "need" any profit, we need only what we want to us Don't confuse the terms "will to profit", with the terms "need to profit". Having the will to profit just means you want to profit. You can "need" to profit, but you not always need. For example, you might need money for an expensive surgery abroad, you'll probably need to profit by selling something; products or your labor. Don't forget that your labor is just like a product, you can put a price to it, but only the consumer will tell if you'll sell it or not for that price. You can't simply say, "yeah my labor deserves X amount of money", if the "buyer" can't afford it; well you can say it, but you can't control the buyer. That's why people invest so much money in getting as much skilled as possible so that the "buyer" of their labor will see that the money they want is worth paying, just like you saw value in the overpriced iPhone created by the giant capitalist company called Apple and accepted the price they were asking you to pay. They're free to sell and you're free to buy it in the market, the free market.😉 "The reason I have device is human intelligence that exists without capitalists, humans.made technology humans will still know how to make them without profit, just because they want to use them in the first place, and not profit from the know-how". Literally everything you bought in your house is a direct result of the will to profit. Do you REALLY believe somebody would be able to build such an incredibly advanced device that 500 years ago would be seen as witchcraft like the smartphone you're using, not only doing everything by himself but also creating so many devices to give away for free that you would end up with one in your hands giving you the PRIVILEGE to be able to criticize how much the system that allowed you to even have it should be over? I refuse to believe you actually believe in that delusion. Of course people would still be intelligent, but society wouldn't be close to being as technologically advanced as it is today, and technology can be dangerous but it can also be used(and it is) not only to save millions of lives, but to feed millions of people around the world with advanced agriculture machines and devices. The free market is not perfect, but it is historically how a poor community or country becomes prosperous. "Did you get yet that "will to profit" is a made-up "need" that capitalists made in order to gain from the excess amount of work that made you do?" Well, this idea that the more you work on something the more its value increases had been debunked a long time ago by economists like Ludwig Von Mises. Understand this: If a person hired you to make a painting and you spent 10 years to finish the painting, it will never be worth as much as Mona Lisa and you won't suddenly become the owner of it either. Why? Because things don't have intrinsic value as I said before; PEOPLE attribute value to things. Only people have intrinsic value. Your teacher is or already indoctrinated you with outdated information. Wake up! Other than that, good stuff.
My mom used to always say to me “people always want the opposite of what they have” regarding beauty. I had curly hair so I wanted straight hair. I had brown hair so I wanted blonde hair. This makes sense here too! The majority of women in Japan aren’t NATURAL BLONDES - let’s just face that fact right away lol. So that being the beauty standard… also makes sense that big beauty businesses would sell it also! Clearly it’ll make them money lol
Being blonde isn’t really the “standard” it’s just something they admire. The “standard” is still black and natural hair which is what most Japanese idols and models have. If it were actually the standard, more Japanese women would dye their hair blonde like in America.

I’ve noticed most Asian beauty standards have a very weird preference with youth, and frailty. I always thought there was a reason behind it. As most Asian countries, Japan being the main topic here are usually conservative with conservative views. Like Women MUST have these certain traits. Pale, young, skinny, no fat or muscle, not opinionated, demure, soft-spoken. Are all good examples. It’s like the men there just want pretty dolls who are easy to overpower and shape to their standards. However, the same standards are never required for the men. I honestly feel bad for Asian women. I think many of them are dying to speak out about their experiences, but simply can’t because their culture prevents them from doing so. Their beauty standards are incredibly toxic and unhealthy. I ask are the women doing all these things in the name of beauty for themselves? Because it makes them happy and feel good? Or are they doing it for the sake of the men?
And people hate me because I'm skinny 😢 I have perfect body shape but Bangladeshi people think that I'm way to much skinny or some time they called me stick but I really didn't look like that way 🥲🥲🥲
It was the basic standards in western countries before feminism too. Men always prefer young and fit women because it's an instinctive sign of fertility. Probably the same as women standards for muscular and tall men, wich is an instinctive sign of the man's capabilities to protect women and provide them ressources
They do it coz they don’t know any indifference! They’ve been brain washed since a toddler by EXTREME male chauvinism and patriarchy!!! Nowadays more and more young women fight for equality but still a tiny minority! It always saddens me especially Japan, such an advanced society in many ways still remain such old school toxic masculinity! 😓 I’m lucky to be able to live in Europe since an young age but the thing makes me super mad in the West is how a large numbers of Western men are longing for Asian women because the stereotypes of us being “feminine (translation: submissive hence easy to be controlled and will serve men like slaves 😡), to the extent many have yellow fever/Asian fetish - truly disgusting and what’s worse - a lots of old pedos as Asians tend to be petite and some look childlike - this phenomenon makes my skin crawl and whenever I see a Western male “into Asian girls” I scold him and if he argues with me I punch his pathetic nose off and kick his disgraceful balls off 👊🤬 IMO this is 100% Asian hate crime as it has a strong racial connotation date back to Viet/Korean War time.
Tbh, japan unfortunately is one of the most sexist countries in the world, you can tell and see by the animes, how almost all female characters are always side characters or made dumb and without so much opinion, without personality, as you said like dolls, mostly being there just to be the MCs girlfriend or something, or to be only their "body" on the show and that's it..
@@thibault2288I'm sorry, but muscular men aren't really THAT big among women. That is the male idea of what is considered attractive (a lot of women still find muscle attractive, it's just not an overwhelming majority). A lot of women prefer a bit feminine looking men, that's why, for example, BTS is so huge. Or why Justin Bieber was so popular. If you've been on the Internet long enough, you'll know Loki is very very popular character among women despite Tom Hiddleston not being that muscular. The average female preference is somewhere in between muscular and skinny.
The blond thing is definitely true! If you’re western but you look too Japanese, with brown hair and such, you’re not considered “exotic” enough. Your skin must be smooth and as white as possible. A big nose is also usually popular (I can say). Also, very important, you have to be shorter and more petit than the guy you like or you won’t even have a chance of being looked at from afar. 😂
You should rephrase to tall nose not big nose, because the Japanese do not really consider tall nose big nose. It's width that make a nose big. Also, I get this. I'm American, USA, and I have bronze hair n hazel eyes and I'm definitely not the idealized foreigner lol
To be honest, appearance shouldn’t matter that much if you find a guy that genuinely likes you. Japanese men are still men and Japanese people usually have lower standards for foreigners overall. Muscles are also frowned on men. Japanese women find "Schwarzenegger in his prime" muscular levels appalling. That's why you see most anime heroes with slim athletic bodies.
I mean Arnold in his prime is literally a huge outlier: a multi-Mr Universe winner. Most average people will not look like that. Most people will just be very toned and defined and, if you can keep the fat off, very lean which is what they want. People who are afraid to lift weights because they think they will balloon to Arnold size are underestimating the effort and genetics needed big time.
They have a term called 'hoso macho', meaning skinny macho. That's the build teenage boys who hit the gym have in my country. Young girls are easily impressed by abs.
It's interesting to learn about different cultural beauty standards, and Japan has a unique perspective. It's important to remember that everyone's idea of beauty is subjective and individual, regardless of cultural influences.
I'd like to comment on the subjectivity of Beauty standards because so many people seem to not acknowledge this. There is no empirical evidence to suggest that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. In short: There are 3 types of beauty standards. Societal, biological/universal and personal/subjective standards that all play with each other. Biological beauty standards are in every culture and share things like symmetrical face, strong developed facial feature for each respective sex and common attractive traits like long legs. Cultural beauty standards are variable however depending on where you are. In the East skinny is more preferred while the west would think that Eastern Standards are too skinny. In some parts of Africa, people with more fat are considered attractive. Personal standards very often build upon both of these standards are thus usually favour the same kinds of people. If there wasn't a hierarchy of what's considered beautiful and what's not, we wouldn't have consensus on who's considered a hot celebrity. Almost all hot celebrity guys feature an angular, developed face.
There's nothing unique or subjective about these beauty standards. It's the same almost everywhere on earth for women, pale skin, red/pink lips, slim, small facial features

I’m pretty sure hair salons are cheaper in Japan,so they can go there very often, that’s why they have shorter hair. Me in Canada, hair salons are too expensive and also I don’t trust them, so I have the longest hair in my entire life 😅😅
@Marcin Biskup FT21 Russian and Ukrainian are both Slavic languages Edit: did you mean that other Slavic languages don't have such a thick accent? I can't speak for all, but Slovaks, Czech and the Polish also have quite substantial accent
i totally agree with that.we sometimes got more unhealthy due to the Japanese beauty standard which be thought that being skinny is everything.(i'm Japanese and i've stayed in Canada before so i'm feeling that so much.)
Please, the vast majority of America women are morbidly obese because of the fact that they accept every and any beauty standard. Fat is not beautiful. Period.
I visited once. It was amazing! If you ever get the chance I recommend it. Wouldn't want to live there though 😂. I'm going down this rabbit hole too. I find it fascinating. A little messed up, but fascinating.
Hey girls, don’t be afraid that you suddenly have to mich muscle from exercising. That doesn’t happen. Muscle requires a load of effort that doesn’t come by accident.
That depends on the type of the body. I tend to get muscular very quickly. I know some girls who do too. Meanwhile some girls wish to have prominent muscles but they just can't though they try really hard.
I had no idea that Japanese people hate themselves. Why would Japanese woman, hate their natural lovely black silky hair. In Japan if you're blonde. You're like perfect. It's a real shame.
Nazi cultural influence is everywhere unfortunately. Women of all races need to start embracing their naturally dark & brunette hair. It's beautiful, thick, and healthy, and flatters every skin tone!
I remember travelling in South America with 2 Japanese girls, one had darker skin and looked athletic. She was very beautiful and I was surprised when she told that the looks of her friend were far more popular at home- her friend was super skinny and very pale skin, quite ill looking to be honest. I'm not skinny shaming as I'm skinny myself
I wonder if the standard was established due to periods of famine? People really do get used to what is common. We know of studies of how people prefer the average of what they see around them.
@@sor3999 no lol. Being Asian myself, my theory is that a lot of Asian girls are short, so if they get fit and they get wider it accentuates the short height, while being slim makes them look taller. This applies for other races as well. For example Rayna Vallandingham, she always films herself at a 45 degree angle up, because the muscles make her look short.
In the countries native to this white girl... (For example, Ukraine. I'm not to say a lot of Ukrainians are blondes, but they are European and I'm Ukrainian so I know) Europeans in many country bash people with fair skin since the times you are a toddler. They say it doesn't look healthy, that it looks rather unattractive scary. Nor are they into the blondes... They like the mixed race look. That's how a lot of the IG baddies over there are
I‘m japanese and living in europe for many years so I want to give different opinion about this. Being skinny is a beauty standart in everywhere. Also in europe. It is true that Japanese women often times have weird diet obsession but its like a culture and not everyone is really trying to lose weight. I assume this lady is a model so I think it is nothing new that a model agency wants you to have certain body aesthetic. In Japan, most of children join after school activities including sports so actually many Japanese teenagers are pretty muscular. Also girls. And 90% of girls with blond hair highlight/bleach their hair here in europe to look more blonde. And many girls have short hair in Japan bc its a trend and also many boys like girls with short hair. If you compare the price of hairsalon in western europe and japan, japan is much cheaper and has better quality. Thats why many girls can keep their short hair. I also only had short hair in japan bc its comfortable in summer but now my hair is very long bc I can’t afford hair salon here in europe.
Thank you for providing your opinion !! I really appreciate it ! By the way , mukashi mukashi long black hair was the ideal Japanese beauty standard for girls so they changed it lol idk why 🤷♀️ but I prefer them with longer hair it’s very more feminine
@@CandiOsaka beauty standards changes all the time. Like 300 years ago woman tended to tie their hair in certain way so thats why it was necessary to have long hair. But for over 100 years there’s short hair trend coming and going. You probably like black long hair but 90% of Japanese girls color their hair. I think you can also look very feminine with short hair.
@@人未来-e6h yes it used to be long for many years I mean more than 300 years ago and also with short hair it can be feminine with the right style but I think longer is a little more feminine 😇☺️
As someone who is considered tall in my country, its really hard to buy pants that can cover my ankle because almost all the pants are tailored toward the average height. So when she said she cant buy jeans in japan i related to her on so many level. I often have to look for pants in men's section or wear pants for oversized people.
I have a large frame so I tend to buy clothes from the men's section. I can only buy men's shoes too. Only problem was my family forcing me to find something in the women's lol.
@@TheBigExclusive au contraire. Japan is not the only place with such standards. Thus, my statement. The skin I'm in is, in fact, only ever enough for me. And I'm good with that. 😏
My take on the hair length then is more work force oriented(the out of school, straight into work force pipeline of the old traditional workforce), means that some individuality gets stomped out by the generalist filters(look at how facial hair on men is treated, as well as the standard dress sense where teenagers can get pretty funky, but it's not that socially acceptable to stand out too much). As for poor fitting clothes, this will happen whenever you don't fit into the "average" window, not just in some countries. What that observation is actually saying is that Japan has a really narrow range for their average, but it's no different from any other country when you sit outside the median.
Yep, I don't know whats up with Russian girls but they are prettier but at same time they seem way more friendly than western girls that are also pretty, they make you feel good around them.
I think the skinny thing is due to the men in that culture. The men tend to not value having big muscles and tend to be really skinny so they want their women to be even skinnier.
Aight thats not only specific to Japanese men, that's like everywhere else except maybe for countries like the UK or the US where the people are spoonfed media suggesting ideas like "Strong Independent Women" or "There is nothing wrong with being muscular or heavy if you are a girl, we accept you"
I'm s body builder and spent a month in Japan on my honeymoon. I certainly got alot of attention and it was all positive. Group of schools boys said I looked amazing, 3 old people said sugoi, little girl called me superman. It's not that they don't value muscles, but they just don't have gyms all over the place. I think it's cuz they just don't have the time?
@@MA_KA_PA_TIE nothing to do with time, it is a different culture. America we are programmed to want to be superman and if ur not ur a loser. Japan does not have that toxic cultural aspect.
I’m a MUA, and my models are from different countries, and those who had worked in Japan always say Japan really likes young models (like really young, one of them said they met a 13 y.o model in her agency in Japan, most of them were 15-17 when they worked in Japan) and they have to be really skinny, they like those with big eyes and cute looking girls
@@jakonjhnehh idk about that. From the stories I've heard Japanese women really like black men. But I'm not sure if they genuinely like them or if it's for one particular thing..
@@jakonjhn I knew someone (black) who went to Japan and slept with 10 girls (on separate occasions) just for being black. No need to get jealous cause they don't want you, it's a skill issue 🤷🏾♂️
That's the thing, it's a very niche thing that very specific people will go out of their way to pay to enjoy because of how unusual it is. Girls who are naturally muscular because of their usual workout habits will not be considered as cute in day to day life, unfortunately. Also applies to chubby girls. Or non-white ones.
But can a women even develop mussels naturally! I feel even if a woman works out she wont get mussels, its just not natural in woman's body unless they take steroids
Japanese stores don’t have reasons to stock extra long jeans or extra big shoe size. Most of Japanese women are about the same size, so a lot of casual dresses are sold as “free size”. I bring everything from Japan to live in the US because it’s hard to find clothes / shoes with my size.

@@literallylyn.z she is Japanese. Many Japanese people do listen to some kpop. That doesn't change the fact that she is not in a jpop group, she's in a kpop group. The beauty standards and behavioral standards are very different. It's more likely than not that Kazuha could be a well liked dancer/performer in Japan and/or a well liked kpop idol, but would not get signed to a jpop idol group. She's not what typical jpop idol fans stan, and she's not what typical jpop idol companies look for in recruits. She's a badass though, and I'm glad she's doing well in Korea.
@Unkl Monk it's becoming more accepted for sure, but fit and muscular are two different things. Having a badass six pack is intimidating to a lot of men. I would not say muscular physiques are trending in Japan. They are slightly more so in Korea, which is where Kazuha works, but they are typically very slender muscular physiques with low body fat and low weight rather than built muscular physiques with actual muscle mass.
As someone whose lived here for about 4.5 years, it depends on the guy! Yes, that is the beauty standard, but I go the gym, and the Japanese men at my gym support me doing muscle training. I'm not stick skinny and I'm curvy and I've had Japanese men tell me that they love my body. Sad, that she's trying to be more blonde to please men that don't even know her. A Japanese man might like her because she looks "exotic" but i hope she finds someone who she can be herself with.
What Europeans consider skinny is actually the healthy weight (people in Asia don't like malnourished humans). Not over weight, not under weight, healthy weight! Toned muscles is different than being mascular. Women in general don't develop that kind of muscle unless they take steroids/harmones which i assume you aren't getting. Everybody loves a feminine body shape (curvy at the right places), as almost all men are heterosexual in Asia.
I mean, if you're a model, isn't it your job to look the best? That's like a male model whining about why women can't find him attractive without a toned muscular body.
Nowadays feminist really get butt hurt easily for stating facts. So, they may appreciate you wondering if you are also feminist minded and don't want to hurt your feelings as well cause you want to work out . But as a fact feminine women are much much more attractive. In fact muscle and fibre along with manly behaviour even make women with beautiful faces unattractive . That is why European women are not attractive nowadays even though they have beautiful faces. All of them looks like men more and more . They even deepen their voice . Variety is what makes life interesting. Men wannabe women in west makes west so boring that no one is happy and are busy quarrelling even though there are lots of advancement in technology.
I'd say in general (not all) men all over the world prefer famine skinny to fit women therefor the standard. Despite what the media wold have you believe, looking at you USA and UK.
There is a big difference between having a healthy weight and being skinny. You can be at a healthy weight but not be incredibly skinny. In fact being too skinny is just as unhealthy as being overweight.
I feel like most people in the US and UK prefer skinny and fit women more in attractiveness but being “fat” or “unhealthy” has been normalized. I understand that individuals should be accepting of people’s decisions but blatantly ignoring the fact that they are harming themselves is not the best thing to do in the long run. Sadly, these days people are more afraid of getting canceled for not being politically correct rather than being willing to criticize their fellow man to make better choices for their lives. That said, at the end of the day if individuals don’t choose for themselves to be “healthy” that’s on them, but setting a better example would be the smarter move imo
But skinny in Asia is on another level, for them Girls like Dua Lipa are fat as fuck, for them the fattest you can get to be considered beautiful is Ariana Grande bodytipe but white because they don't like dark skin, an these dudes can be ugly as hell and still reject girls that are not into their standard, as a male foreigner is dope because there is plenty of beautiful Girls unable to find a man so hooking up with them is not that hard.

Asian beauty standards are easy to grasp. 1: be skinny (preferably underweight) 2: be white
That preferably underweight part made me laugh. 😃

I didn’t see many either when I went
Long and short hair should be the same length for men and women. It’s ridiculous otherwise.
I bet my booty is bigger smh🙄 (my butt is literally inverted and it looks like an extension of my back from how flat I am)

@@md55773 Are you okay? You're describing the communist system not the capitalist one. You don't force people to do things in capitalism and it's a natural system. The only reason why you have the device to complain about a false notion of capitalism, is the free market itself, the will and ability to profit. Of course it has many problems, like monopolies, etc. it isn't perfect, but without the will and ability to profit, only elites would have those devices and an infinity of other things.

3. Did you get yet that "will to profit" is a made-up "need" that capitalists made in order to gain from the excess amount of work that made you do?
@@md55773 "You don't force them physically, you force them economically"
Girl, what are you talking about?
Naturally we don't "need" any profit, we need only what we want to us
Don't confuse the terms "will to profit", with the terms "need to profit".
They're free to sell and you're free to buy it in the market, the free market.😉
"The reason I have device is human intelligence that exists without capitalists, humans.made technology humans will still know how to make them without profit, just because they want to use them in the first place, and not profit from the know-how".
"Did you get yet that "will to profit" is a made-up "need" that capitalists made in order to gain from the excess amount of work that made you do?"
Well, this idea that the more you work on something the more its value increases had been debunked a long time ago by economists like Ludwig Von Mises.

Same with anime. It contains every beauty standard, they don't have.

Bog nose and darker skin is not popular in any part of Japan.
I am really muscular and curvy and I was probably more muscular than a lot of dudes but I still got hit on by skinny guys haha.

Tis true👍.As long as people are polite& respectful..Not staring with a 'Mouth agape' or shocked expression!
I'd like to comment on the subjectivity of Beauty standards because so many people seem to not acknowledge this. There is no empirical evidence to suggest that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. In short:
There are 3 types of beauty standards.
Japan, China, and Korea are not that different when it comes to beauty standards
This not Tru especially when I saw video of japanese men on TikTok. Says opposites . Lol
There's nothing unique or subjective about these beauty standards. It's the same almost everywhere on earth for women, pale skin, red/pink lips, slim, small facial features

Yeah I find tan skin healthier and nicer looking overall compared to very pale skin but again to each their own
I wonder if the standard was established due to periods of famine?

She is pretty!!
By the way , what about not muscular but “hikishimata” so toned but slim / skinny I think thjs is healthy and nice and feminine
@@CandiOsaka beauty standards changes all the time. Like 300 years ago woman tended to tie their hair in certain way so thats why it was necessary to have long hair.
She is really beautiful and sounds like a fun person to be around

Also consider women don't want to be taller than their man and don't want to have more muscles than their man.
Submissive and easily beaten.
But they are to young and to be to skinny is also on halty

A recent trend in Japan seems to be physically fit and have abs for younger women. Like Kazuha of Le Sserafim.
Well, Kazuha is a former ballerina and a kpop, not jpop idol. Most female kpop idols have abs these days but it’s a recent trend.
@@_anonimkahes from japan and japanese people listen to kpop aswell
bro where are her abs
I think she's a model that's why she got the highlights? To be more appealing to agencies
I mean, if you're a model, isn't it your job to look the best?
That's like a male model whining about why women can't find him attractive without a toned muscular body.
Dude. Men will say anything. Doesn't mean he really supports it
Nowadays feminist really get butt hurt easily for stating facts.
Despite what the media wold have you believe, looking at you USA and UK.
but the idea of what is "skinny" is very different. Even BMI charts are different in Asia.
This isn't true. In countries across Africa and Latin America, curvy is the standard.
