You probably figured out some of these already but I have a few solutions just in case: For the rearview mirror there's a torx screw at the base that you can tighten.
For the key fob issue, try bending the key fob battery pins upwards so they touch the bottom of the battery (there should be like 2 copper half circles that bend upwards and touch the negative side of the battery). The trunk you have to take out the upper cover and then remove the trunk struts with a flathead screwdriver. To install they push into place. Just make sure the trunk doesn't fall on you when removing the struts. Ventilated/cooled rear seats are a rare luxury in the world of Japanese cars. Features like these (along with front cooled seats and heated steering wheels being more common) is one thing American car makers got right
I have a second generation Lexus like you , the 2is. Yes I have the weak and clowned on IS250 but I love it! I was debating on getting a bumper conversion like you did on your car, 4IS. I ended up keeping it because I wanted to keep it as close to the original as possible. Phenomenal cars.
@@x0tem they'll be aight... As long as you are comfortable driving... Thats what matters lol ... Kidding, i get it. I've never owned ventilated seats, So its not a deal breaker for me.
The first thing every car guy hates is that their build doesn't instantly blow up on youtube to cover the credit card bill. The second thing, is your trunk is obviously broken, because mine goes up as if its spring loaded, and it goes down with a easy swing... Third, they sold you an after market keyfob. I don't think I have changed my battery in my keyfob EVER. Heck, I have a 2005 camry where I never changed the battery (its almost 20 years old) and my lexus probably had the battery changed ONCE. Fourth, the reason the seats are perforated is to more easily install the OPTIONAL rear heat function from factory. And I think that even today, lexus only offers rear ventilated seats on like 2 models. Fifth, yeah your mirror is old/broken. Mine doesn't move even a mm without A LOT of effort. Nice and stiff. Sixth, yeah the dash board is quite the issue unfortunately. Remedied in the 2013 year.
@@singular9 I appreciate the comment! The intro was more to get people to subscribe since 98% of my viewers aren’t . Second the trunk isn’t broken it’s a common issue with the 2nd gen is350 as others in the comments also have the same problem. Third the keyfob is OEM but as to it being busted that could be it. All the others like the vented seats or mirrors I do get!
Really enjoyed this video. It was nicely filmed and edited. I also feel that my trunk is heavy too and it's always seemed that way to me. Like someone else commented, your rear view mirror is definitely finnicky. Keep it up. I've subscribed!
the second thing you just need key battery I replaced mine .The key fob was doing the exact same thing. Once I got it replaced it actually worked and responds back every time now. 2013 IS 350 Also love your build I want that same front bumper looks really good bro hope the channel blows up to get the super charger!
Beautiful car. I was considering buying a used lexus, but they were as expensive as a newer Fusion, which is a car I really like because I had a 2013 in the past. I ended up with a 2017 Fusion Platinum with every single option available with under 50, 000 miles. In any case, hopefully I'll have the chance to buy a new Lexus in the future. Super reliable and stylish.
Keep your eyes open on the used market. Some people practically give away wheel/tire combos away on marketplace- key is to beat the resellers flipping them. I'm talking less than a G you can find your typical flow formed enkei/Koenig*/etc with good tires. Just beware of offsets and know spacers can alleviate some fitment issues.

Thank you! It’s funny bc I made a similar video for youtube shorts and it got so much backlash for me saying that the trunk is heavy.
My 2014 gs350 has 70k miles and have no issues yet, love the is too. Might get a new gs grill🔥

Do you have any plans on tuning it?
Yeah I do! I have no idea if that’s the same as an ECU tune but i’m learning…
Bro you gotta replace the trunk struts😂😂
Did you find a solution to the key issue
Bro. Can you please mention the wheel details. Which size is that???
it’s 17inch bro and they are the stock ones just powder coated
I want bigger ones these are too small
Why you have no front plate?
i hate that the car is slow... I eventually want to supercharge it (way down the line),.. midpipe, headers and tune (in the nearish future)...

The IS350 and IS350C have a sort of LSD. It's pre-torqued, with some springs in it, so it acts like an LSD, but not up to the full torque.
