If you look into the Magic-Grip Hairpins from Good Hair Days they have actually been around and sold by that company since 1996 and from a 1960s patent. Therefore I don't think you could call them an 'Amazon Dupe' when clearly they were the originals.......
Thank you for yhe the step by step tutorial. I got the dupes (mine look pretty much exactly like the FF pins) but I couldn't figure out how ro make them stay in. Didn't realize i needed to open the end a but when pushing the pin in my hair.
Straight hair girly here, medium thickness. I bought a pack of the Amazon pins over a year ago, use them daily and have zero complaints!
Video starts at 4:55… Yw

Enjoyed the video. I ordered the FF pins in the colors 'Paris'. One thing that the cheap Amazon pins do not have is the beautiful colors that FF has.

do you think it can work well even for a few fine and straight hairs? It's not cheap and I wanted to be sure before making the purchase.
@@giuliazatta7084 it seems to have a good amount of grip, so probably? You’d have to put all your hair in the Amazon one for it to stay, I think 😕
@@heathermangiare5960 thankyou
I have fine hair. They work good only for half up or all up styles. You can see the end of the pin sticking out with smaller sections of hair for me
They come from Amsterdam
