best review of this backpack that I've seen, great job! I liked how you showed the bag completely open and how the dividers work when completely open. That's missing from all the other videos. I also liked how you showed how to insert the shelves and arranged your gear in the bag. This was spot on, exactly the video I was looking for. Keep up the great work!
good job and the packing was very helpful, especially forming the wall on the bottom with the lens to the outside and the power bank on the inside, and also keeping the spare lens and camera body in the same silo so that when you take the body out, swapping the lens without having to open the other side of the bag. Those two tips make the video very worthwhile - more of the practical aspect of using it (since there are a ton of videos about the bag features). Thanks for posting it!
I love the set-up lesson! I ordered one after seeing your lesson. I demoed one a few months back but sent it back. But you've show how versatile it can be. How is all that weight on the shoulder straps? I've got an XPro3 and combination of primes/zoom lenses. For airline travel I think I'd use the top compartment for non-camera essentials, and then reconfigure for camera equipment only once I arrive at my destination.
Peak Design’s sizing guide says it fits 13” x 9” x 1”, and the 14” MacBook Pro’s dimensions are 12.31” x 8.71” x 0.61” (which is also quite similar to the 2013-2015 MacBook Pro’s) so I think it should fit.
Delighted to see a video from a fellow Malaysian! Just wondering if you could give an update on how the bone colour is holding up after these years? I’m looking to get the bone colour but unsure how quick it’ll get dirty and how hard it is to clean
Thanks :). That video was uploaded quite some years. Unfortunately that bag was a review unit and I’ve since returned it. I’ve got the sage color from beginning of time that I purchase for the travel backpack. It’s the green one. That color way lasted well
Does the surface of the bag easily get dirty or is it easy to clean? how's the bone colour stand as for 2 years of use sir? I love the color but afraid that it'll get dirty easily.
I wish I have the answer. I had a review unit and I didn’t have a chance to wear out this product. However. I have the sage bags. Traveline. Not my everyday driver but I’ve use it extensively over these years when I first purchase from Kickstarter. Still look brand new. But that sage.
Excellent review. One problem buying the 15. If you own RF lenses, the storage space can really jeopardize the versatility of the orgami dividers. I own 1 zoom and 1 prime.
Is this bag good as everyday carry? I am not a photographer nor i carry a camera. Just want to use for my travel and holidays for carrying - basic things and few gadgets. Would you recommend it? Also can you fit in a peak design field pouch inside 15L backpack?
Fashion rating - decent Function rating - poor Zipper quality - poor Leaving it to you with those annoying velcro dividers with poor padding, instead of designing it properly for purpose, I consider a cop out...

Thanks for doing this video. It's helping me out with picking the right backpack for my city photo walks.

Good video, definitely liked how you demo'd the bag, how to carry, pack, and access side of it.
Thanks. Your comment encourages me to work on more bags reviews :)
Beautiful bag and perfect demonstration, Jon. Thank you for your work.
Many thanks!

Thanks for showing how you use the bag in a real situation, really helpful
Great review. I might pick one up tomorrow !
Hope you enjoy it!
I’m wondering if it fits a 14” MacBook Pro?
Don’t think it would. ;(. The 14” is quite a bit thicker than the 13. If it fits. It’s very tight. Go for the 20L everyday backpack
@@jonlow I can’t thank you enough! I’ll look into the 20L for sure.

How's the white color hold up?

Is it compatible with a 14" MacBookPro?
Thank you for information, I am still undecided on zip, and then 15l or 20l zip. You are a great instructor. ~M`
Glad it was helpful! I personally still go for the everyday backpack ;) I have the 25L and the 35L ;)

Informative video. Now I’m interested to see a comparison between different line up of PD backpacks.
Thank you Jon! Is this bag water proof? Ex. do I need cover for when I‘m in the rain?
Nice work, liked how you explained it all. Clarified some points of the PD bag for me too ;)
Can I keep a 13 inch laptop and an 11 inch tablet in the compartment?
I don’t think it fits. Too small of a bag to do so
@@jonlow really? Oh no! That's disappointing.
Great review!
Nice! thanks for the review!
great reviews,w thanks!
Hi Jon, do you know if the 15L can carry the Surface Laptop 13 by any chance?
I never owned a surface laptop 13 inch before. :( Sorry I can't answer you that. If it is anything like the 13 inch MacBook Pro, then can
What tripod is that?
i want to know as well.
I feel sorry for that little bag, it's like stuffing a Christmas turkey.
n+1 lol
