    very enjoyable video Davie and a superb looking shrimp. I have tried shrimp in the sea and harbour near my home in Norfolk but, with the sea being so murky haven't had any luck with them. Bass will take them but I think might prefer them tied the other way round rather than spines facing toward them. Having said that they have been seen going after mouthfuls. I made some that use the curve of the hook within the tail. The tail can be soft to allow movement when the shrimp is pulled. Thanks for all your videos Davie

    A good, strong and easy to tie shrimp pattern. But in my experience a crystal flash is often heavily entangled with a relatively soft hair, such as arctic or silver fox and raccoon. Therefore (in my hubmble opinion) it will be better to use some flat strands of flash. I normally use a crystal flash with bucktail or similar relatively stiff hair.
