i am so envious of how organised, walkable and well planned the city of japan is. everything just looks so accessable and comfortable to go from one place to another. here in Malaysia we have highways and roads stacked on top of another, pavements no where to be seen. trees in the middle of sparse walkways. the city is wholly made for cars and not humans it's just so depressing to live in
I skipped the bus to do this walk several times after eating a few pastries from Beard Papa , my arms full of shopping bags from entering so many cool shops . After a quick break in Omote-sando, I continued on through Minami Aoyama via the cemetery to get back to my hotel in Roppongi. Tokyo architecture is especially noteworthy. Will be back with my son to do it all over again !!

I know, because I used to watch thousands of clips that were taken a century ago when I was in university. I always wondered who took them, how they were like, and what they felt when they took those clips. It gave me a glimpse of life then that cannot be described on textbooks and on any other writings.

Japanese city nights are so lively with all those lightning of shops with huge windows that convey touristic city status and give confidence and confidant attire to walking citizens at nights. Cleanliness is another positive thing with small apartments.

Ahh this made me feel quite sad. Im Kiwi but my girlfriend is Japanese, and we've been dating for 2 and a half years, and previous years I went to Japan with her and we stayed with her parents (which apparently is very unusual for a Japanese family). Anyways, they live in minamiaoyama, and we use to take this very route to Shibuya! which was quite often. The sad part is, due to us both graduating Uni this year, her student visa expired and now she's in Japan (and has been for the past 2 months) while I'm left behind in New Zealand. Cant wait until this bloody pandemic is over so we can finally meet again.

everything is so polish-y like the chrome on the cars is polished to perfection. its just incredible and it really speaks volumes of the Japanese character. an example of cleanliness that the rest of the world should follow 👍

Ahh this made me feel quite sad.
Im Kiwi but my girlfriend is Japanese, and we've been dating for 2 and a half years, and previous years I went to Japan with her and we stayed with her parents (which apparently is very unusual for a Japanese family).
Anyways, they live in minamiaoyama, and we use to take this very route to Shibuya! which was quite often.
The sad part is, due to us both graduating Uni this year, her student visa expired and now she's in Japan (and has been for the past 2 months) while I'm left behind in New Zealand. Cant wait until this bloody pandemic is over so we can finally meet again.
What's the plan for future? Do you wanna stay in Japan with her?

The city seem very quiet and well organized. I never thought of Japan or any Asian countries as places I will like to visit, but this video and other train videos in Japan, I been look at just recently, is arousing desire to see Japan for myself.
