it cost around 460 usd for ultra 7 155h model here, but after sooooo many consideration and review video ,i decided to spent more and get legion go 1tb z1 extreme instead , its around 790 usd its that bad
Got mine 4 days ago. Cheapest handheld Pc in my country, and yes even cheaper than SD OLED. Largest battery before the X release, and fastest handheld synthetically . I only play really light game titles ,so I couldn't really care less bout the performance. It gives me 3-5 hours of gameplay. I couldn't really ask for more for a handheld console. As a Ryzen + GeForce RTX PC gamer , I really just had to go with Intel this time.
Philippines. My 135h variant is 30$ cheaper than the cheapest z1 non-extreme here , and 155h is priced the same as SD OLED. But it was pointless to get the 155h instead of 135h imo.
@clem9808 in this circumstances, the Claw is actually a reasonable choice 😉 Here in Germany the rog with z1 extreme dropped to around 460 euros, which made it hard to find anything else which is better at that price point
I hope that Lunar lake makes some serious improvements especially when it comes to less CPU wattage starving the GPU. It will be interesting to see what improvements they’ve made with that. But as it stands the current chips are great on laptops but suck as a handheld
I just bougth it here in Mexico, I pay 500 for the intel 5 model, but I got a rebate for 50USD and the store was running a promotion for with a TV, I'm planning to sell the TV so it will get back at least another 150-200USD, so 300 USD for the Claw was a deal for me, the ally Z1 Extrem runs abour 650 USD, the Z1 is about 450USD, the new one is crazy expensive, like 900USD right now.
Hardware fault on the 13th and 14th gen Intel CPU's, only way to save it is to replace the affected processors. Intel most likely don't want to do that so they are issuing micro code patches that will reduce performance as a result. Goodbye Intel.
Real Good Video! Was really looking forward for a video like this because I like to buy the Ally X but was also curious how the claw performs a view months later. And You are not the only one with this results. Intel can't compete on the mobile devices.
Thanks for the retest! Doesn't look so good for Intel in the GPU market so far (sadly). I agree that it would be great to have at least some competition.
I was really hoping the Claw would..... claw its way into at least a competitive position. But AMD's far superior experience in making GPU Drivers is the real difference here. ALong with the fact that games get made with AMD and Nvidia in mind from the outset. So that's another point why the synthetic Benchmarks for the claw are so great, but the real in game performance leaves a lot to be desired. The iGPU may very well be stronger, but no games are made to take advantage of it, intel really needs to get with some game studios and help optimize for their platform, the same way AMD does.
Really important question…ate these bios updates only for the MSI or general intel driver updates for all laptops with the same arc igpus? Thanks a lot. This might be really helpful
Bios update are always for the specific laptop or handheld. Driver updates usuai CAN be used for all devices but it's not without risk using them globally. Could fuck things up. Sometimes it's better to wait for the specific device drivers to be updated
FYI that is not why we are laying off employees smart ass! We're laying off because the economy is bad and we're trying to restructure and maximize profits!!
IDK how, but I'm getting 20% better results in Cyberpunk than what you are showing, on a 135H claw. 1080p medium, change scaling to FSR performance, right? AC power, performance profile, 48fps 1080p medium, 54fps 1080p low Battery power, super battery profile, 32fps 1080p low
Found your issue. On the claw you have to apply stock low/medium/high first, then change scaling and apply settings again. If you set low/medium/high and FSR at the same time it uses XeSS balanced, even if the ui displays FSR Performance. Cyberpunk settings GUI has been kinda broken since the expansion.
I also made a "Side by Side" Video Version with some more games:

The claw is now cheaper then the original ally in the UK. I'm tempted

Wow, it's crazy that the MSI claw is cheaper than the competition. Which country is that?

@@TorstenSimonYeah I'm not gonna lie , I'm so jealous with those prices. Prices here never changed since launch lol.

Intel didn't even fix the 14th gen problems lol
Thanks mate ❤️ I really hope they get it done with Lunarlake...

@@Hubwood absolutely but i somehow feel AMD does better overall in terms or processors and GPU's or more like AMD keeps the balance
Waste of money just get SD or ally. Or X..
This is probably why Intel is laying off 15,000 employees. They can't get their stuff together vs AMD and NVIDIA.

Im pretty sure its because you got the i7 vetsion thats why it sucks more😂 the cpu os eating all the power and starving the gpu
In fact the i5 version can be faster in SOME games. Slower in others...

I know about that issue with the Settings. I'm always applying FSR in the LAST step when I benchmark that game 🤷♂️
