I loved your favorites! They’re mine too. And I totally agree with your description of cracked’s clotted, it’s like a classic brick red color but that little extra hint of flakies and shimmer makes it super chic and special. Love it ❤
hhc is killing this month!!! there’s soooo many GORGEOUS glowy polishes!!! i’ve never tried cracked polish and i’m loving both polishes!!! i’m not too big on red polishes, but there are some STUNNING red polishes this month!!! i’m a gray polish lover and the rogue polish is absolutely beautiful!!! the solar polishes are also beautiful. I LOVE YOUR SWATCHES!!! 🖤🖤🖤
New intro!👍 So many pretty collections coming out recently. Strangely enough, the very first, 1422 Designs, is my favorite! There are so many others I adore, including the BCB, Rogue and Penelope Cruz duo. Thank you for the review!!
I hope you like it!! I wanted to change things up. I really enjoy that song. The 1422 is a great shade for fall. Not too bright or dark. Lots of great offerings this month
From the swatches I’ve seen, PfD looks more sheer and you mostly see shimmer, while the Pahlish builds up to a more opaque look with the base color showing more. Also according to their descriptions PfD is green/blue/purple and Pahlish is teal/aqua/blue shimmer
Thank you for the video. There are so many beautiful polishes this month. My wish list is too long, there will be slashing! 🔪🩸😳I hope that the ones I have to kill will come back in overstock. That being said, Peter pan's shadow will be in my cart, along with Cracked For the love of indie.
HHC beat the pants off PPU this month, imo. So, so many gorgeous polishes. I’m almost afraid to start a wishlist!😂 I do have an over pour polish in my wishlist already. Thanks for these glorious swatches!❤
I’ve seen a lot of sticky base coats look green in the bottle but apply clear which is good. Oh and that 1422 Lets Get Wild is on my wishlist cause I saw LaTanya swatch it in a live as a topper and it was stunning 😊
Please know that my comment is NOT being critical of YOU; as I truly enjoy your personality. I just wanted to suggest something that clearly you’re already aware of, but I wanted to add a little addition of awareness. As you are the presenter of these products, with the goal of not only showing them to potential customers, but helping the sales of all products, you clearly want to present them to them best of your ability. However, when you layer the polishes on as heavily as you do, in particular the heavily filled polishes, the end effect is that it alters not only the performance of the polishes (how they’re designed to lie on the nail), but it actually alters the colors that are designed to display. As an example, taking the Night Owl Lacquer, They’re Dangerous, But I Love Their Swagger, the first coat you applied was fine. It was the following coats that altered both the functionality & appearance of the lacquer. If you look at this particular example, you’ll see that, on the second coat, you layered it so heavily over the entire nail, the additives in the polish were unable to smooth out over the nail properly (brush strokes are designed to do this). In addition, because you layered it heavy, but didn’t brush over it, both sides of the nail had mountains of polish & filler, while the center lacked the same. If you look at your final photo of all fingers done, you’ll see that almost every finger is the same. As a result, you’ve completely changed how the polish should look, altered the color & functionality; as it’s dark on the edges of the nails, almost black, so no additives are visible, while its pink with visible additives in the center of each nail. And, when I speak of functionality, I’m mainly speaking of how the additives are designed to smooth over the nail, with the help of the brush, plus how the polish is designed to self-level. It’s impossible for it to do either when its layer so very thick. If you were to take this same polish and apply it with 2-3 THIN coats, each brushed appropriately, I guarantee you will have a completely different looking nail; as the color will be much more visible, the back will be virtually gone and the additives will be smoothly spread over the nails. I just wanted to explain this in detail so that you understood what affect these Really heavy coats have. And, if you look at the ones prior to this, especially those with heavy additives, because they were applied so thick, it’s actually altered the shape of your nail; making them appear distorted, bumpy and not pretty, as I can see they are without polish. Again, please know that I AM NOT CRITICAL OF YOU, simply your application technique, which is something easily fixed. And, I guarantee you, if you get in the habit of slowing down as your applying and not trying to finish so fast with heavy layers you’re not taking the time to brush, but thin, even layers that are nicely brushed, you’ll not only have much prettier nails, but your presentation will improve one-hundred fold, which in the end, will improve not only the Indie Brands sales, but their customers satisfaction with the products they purchase; as they will be seeing a much more accurate representation of the product before they make a decision to purchase. I look forward to watching many more of your presentation videos in the future, Hun! Keep up with your wonderful personality & hard work! And please know, my comments are ONLY to help you (and your business) become even more successful and continue to draw in more brands that seek to work with you! 💜 ❤ Much love, Shelbie =)
I do this for fun and to show polishes I have the privilege to receive. I’ve mentioned lots of times I primarily work in thick coats. That is my preference of polishing. My goal isn’t to sell anyone anything. The live swatch is there for all to see and make your own judgements on a polish.
My Gawd did this woman spend a lot of her time being highly critical of differences in techniques. I only read all of that mess because I was bored. U can't possibly be that negative, and then say "in not being critical" of course u absolutely are. She needs to change channels!😂
@@amybean-zamora419 The entire reason I started my comment with stating my comment was NOT a personal criticism is because writing in such a format, without a backstory, words can be misinterpreted, emotions applied to them not intended. That is also the reason I took time to explain what I was seeing & the benefit i saw in altering a few things. Again, reiterating it was NOT a personal criticism of her; even starting that I love watching, her great personality and that she seemed like a lovely person. If that wasn’t clear enough, I don’t know what it takes to make it clearer. In addition. I took time to explain, not simply laying down a quick critique, so there wouldn’t be any misunderstanding & so that my constructive criticism could (hopefully) be of benefit to her. You see, I’m a Professional Author. I know how words work, how they can be interpreted and misinterpreted. One thing I’ve learned is, people who complain about the amount I write often do so because their capacity for hearing the message shuts down. They’ve already formed their own opinion & care no further. Now, I’m not saying this is the case with you, but taking your comment, which is completely out of context with mine, leads me to believe this might be the case. You see, the difference between our comments is, I was trying to give her CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM; ideas on how she can IMPROVE, something that will BENEFIT HER. I didn’t do this because I want her to fail, or wanted to make her feel bad. You, on the other hand, said nothing constructive & your comment was emotional-based, angry, offensive and telling me to leave; of which you have no right. When I see something that’s a clear issue which can easily be corrected, and I enjoy the persons personality & overall impression, I’ll take the time to pass it along for the SOLE PURPOSE of trying to help them IMPROVE. Sadly, there are people in our world who see ANY form of criticism as critical and negative. In my opinion, you are one of these people. That’s a personal issue with you, likely formed from your past experiences. In the future, when you read a comment such as mine, it might be best if you try to look at it not from a personal standpoint, applying your own feelings, but from a neutral standpoint; considering the words for EXACTLY AS THEY’RE WRITTEN, for the meaning of the actual words used. Please, learn from this and, in the future, try not to apply your feelings to others words; as you’ll often be wrong, since you don’t know them, or their motives. I hope, in time, you’re able to heal from whatever has caused the damage within. And to clarify, the words I write, I mean. I’m not saying them to be passively aggressive. Wishing you all the best. Shelbie =)🥰😘
Thanks for all the videos you do for hhm & ppu.. I’m torn on the night owl bottle. Do the flakes show up thru the polish nicely? Or do they get dulled down from the polish? Thanks!! 🙏🏼 😊

I agree! HHC has soooo many pretties this month!! I love a good deep, burgundy red. You’ll enjoy the Cracked Polish if you decide to pick it up!
I have a couple Cracked Polish colors and the colors and formulas are wonderful.
Omg every time I think I will be able to comtrol myself one month, that goes out the window fast. Thank you for the swatches ❤
I can’t control myself during the fall season lol ..glad you enjoyed the video!
I believe the Cracked polish will sell like hotcakes. There is something special about both of those.
Yup! I agree!

How different would you say Pahlish’s Sailor Mercury is compared to Polished for Days’ Quite Literally Dead Inside from PPU this month?
From the swatches I’ve seen, PfD looks more sheer and you mostly see shimmer, while the Pahlish builds up to a more opaque look with the base color showing more. Also according to their descriptions PfD is green/blue/purple and Pahlish is teal/aqua/blue shimmer
Your swatches are always gorgeous cuz you have the perfect nail shape and skin tone. Just gorgeous
🥹🥹 thank you so much!!
What blue polish do you have on in this video? I am so distracted! 😂
Came here to ask the same 😅
It’s by Lurid Lacquer! Top Bunk, Middle Bunk, Trundle Bed
All these polishes are so beautiful this month. Shouldnt have watched this though. My list got so much bigger.😂
HHC this month is killing it!

Thanks as always for your lovely swatches ❤
Thank you! The colores de carol polishes are beautiful this month!
Lovely 💅👏❤TFS
Great video! Curious, how goes Dam Polish Northern Lights compare to Pahlish Sailor Mercury? Is Northern lights much deeper and more opaque?
Northern Lights is definitely deeper and more opaque
Ooohh, my favs are beauty and pans shadow..

Glad you’re getting Rogue and Cracked! Those are so good!! Hopefully you’re able to cut off what you think you don’t need!
love BCB lighter of the BBT&T and Cuticula's. also Garden Path's red would go with the blue you currently have on for a future mani
Imaging layering the Garden Path over different polishes!? Now you have given me a great idea!
Thank you so much ❤
Oo! @VictorianVarnish, I LOVE your polishes! Your formulas are always so nice to work with. Keep up the great work!
I love your videos!!!
Thank you!!

Omg right!!! Usually it’s always PPU. But so many more brands are brining it! And thank you!
I should not have watched your video this month! 😂 I planned on skipping this month
😂
I’ve seen a lot of sticky base coats look green in the bottle but apply clear which is good. Oh and that 1422 Lets Get Wild is on my wishlist cause I saw LaTanya swatch it in a live as a topper and it was stunning 😊
I like how it’s clear too! …and oh yes! 1422 is so unique this month
I haven’t bought from HHC yet this might be the time after this review 🙃
What’s on your nails very pretty!
Thank you! It’s from Lurid. There’s loooots of beautiful polishes this month! Usually September is a busy month full of beautiful indie polishes
Damn that Pahlish! I love it but feel like I have something from WFL or GLL that is similar enough… at least that’s what I’m telling myself
Haha! I feel like Pahlish is one of those brands where it looks “ok” in the bottle but stunning on the nails

No problem!! They do show up, but not super contrasting

You’re so right!! Thanks for pointing that out.
ps… what polish are you wearing in this video???
It’s by Lurid Lacquer! Top Bunk, Middle Bunk, Trundle Bed
Did you make this video and not tell us what that lovely blue polish is on your nails right now? 😉 I looked in the description, did I miss it?
