Ohhh. How I love watching Laura. I’m 86 years old and I’ve been a gardener for all my life but she has taught me soo much. If I were, by some miracle, to win I would purchase raised beds for vegetables. I just can’t get down on my hands and knees anymore.
You are my inspiration for raised bed gardening. I had given up on gardening due to our poor soil until I started watching your videos. You made it look so do-able! I am so thankful for the gift of being able to grow our own food. Thank you for sharing with all of us!
I lost my dad 10 years ago in October one of the hardest days of my life! To this day I'm always thinking bout him, my yards are for him everything I plant and everything I do! I love being with nature brings me closer to my dad, hearing the birds and watching all the butterfly's, bees, lady birds ect.. in spring! No matter what I've always got a piece of him with me everytime I do abit of gardening my dad's passion and mine 😊 x I'd buy so much if I could anything to do with my dad, all the flowers he likes more new tools for the garden and bench for my dad x

I just never had the nerve to plant the things I loved, I was always afraid that it wouldn’t be right, but you have given me the encouragement to just do it, and I am loving it. My son who is 15 and struggles with a lot of day to day activities due to autism, has also caught the bug to grow things and he is excellent at it. He has turned his bedroom and our dining room into his green houses . So, if we were fortunate enough to win the gift card, I would give it all to him to obtain the things he needs to continue his love of gardening. He would have a dream come true.. I work at an inner city Elementary school, and I have been teaching my students the importance of growing and caring for our earth, but also the love of plants for our classroom. I have been trying to get funding for a school garden, but struggle with funds due to our low income area. This donation would help teach our students so much, and give students a sense of caring and growing their own flowers and veggies. Most of my students haven’t even seen some vegetables or have a yard to play in. It would be amazing to create a space for them to just be kids. ❤️

I am an elementary teacher and have an outdoor classroom. I would spend the gift card on raised beds just like this. It would be a great opportunity to teach the children about the life cycle of plants, vegetables and fruits. The excitement, wonder and patience that will come when they watch and then harvest their own food would be priceless. Not to mention the respect and appreciation they will have when they will finally be able to eat what they have nurtured to grow. It would be an excellent project for team-building skills putting the planner boxes together too.

Your videos have given me so much confidence in making spaces in my yard to enjoy. Two years ago my husband and I built our raised beds and made a space similar to your vegetable garden, complete with drip irrigation. It has utilitarian fence around it to keep out the deer and rabbits. I would like to add an arbor at the entrance to make it look pretty and not just utilitarian. Thank you for all you do. Hi! Always love seeing you and Aaron working together on making yours and others world a beautiful place. Living in Central Florida I have struggled with growing anything otber than tropical plants. Sayi g that my white Bird of Paradise is on 2 years installed and yet to flower. Gardners supply has some great products. I removed a freeze damaged Azalea and want to change that area into acontainer plant area. I love the square containers in tbis video and would like some filled with tall plants and a mix of lower. Im in need of basics like good pruners, good gloves, and otber tools. I would order lots of those things and plants and fertilizer. Going through their catalog now! Faithful follower! Be blessed!

Elevated garden beds and drip irrigation for my mom would be on my wish list. My mom, much like yours, has been the source of knowledge and inspiration for my love of gardening. She is 73 years old now and has very bad knees. A couple of years ago my dad built some above the ground raised beds for her so she wouldn’t have to bend over so much and reduce the amount of time going down onto her knees. However, her knee problems have gotten worse since then and switching to elevated beds would be so much more “knee friendly” for her.
I love seeing this project come together, can’t wait to see it all planted up! I’d love to get some of those planters and some obelisks like yours!
