I’m sure you know this already but in case you don’t. The fruiting contorted tree you have is very possibly called Callie’s Delight and it is a sport from the male contorted tree. Sold originally by just fruits and exotics in Florida. Great videos!! Great job❤️
Exactly right. Thanks, I forgot to mention the name. Fruit was good on this Callie's Delight last year but we had fruit drop for some reason this year on this tree (and a lot of our other trees as well). We're thinking its a watering problem or a problem with temperature swing from having them in a hoophouse... Oh well, there's always next year :). Thanks again. - Mark
Hi. Thank you so much! We just use plastic woven weed barrier/landscape fabric stretched across bare ground. It gets pretty squishy during our muddy winters but has lasted for three years now...although it's getting a little ragged so we'll need to replace it soon. - Mark
Thanks for sharing your experiences.
You bet. Thanks for watching! -Mark

I like your beautiful and organized setup! What do you use for ground cover? Thank you.

A mullberry takes three years to develop its true flavor.
