Just got around to watching. Thanks again for taking the time and for having an abundance mindset! Hollywood could do with more people like you. Also great success story at the end. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Alvaro! I try to share tips that worked for me and hopefully will save others some time and energy so people can focus on making connections and writing amazing music. Please share this video with others on your socials and composer forums if you found it helpful to help spread the word. Thanks for watching! 🎶 🙏
I've a question. If a songwriter/composer's credits have no listing in IMDB because of them primarily being a paid ghostwriter would there even be a point for them to even create an IMDB Pro Account?
Good question. There is no easy answer, so it just depends. If credits are not important and you’re making a good living as a ghostwriter then it doesn’t make sense to have an IMDb Pro Account. But, I’ve seen some ghostwriters credited on IMDb as something else like programmers, additional orchestrations, and such. It’s happened to me too. But it’s still beneficial to join IMDb Pro if you’d like to reach out to filmmakers as a composer and not as a ghostwriter. But it all depends on what your goals are.
