Fantastic luck for the Ann Arbor area that these cool creatives brought the spark of B'klyn to this university town.

Great story!! I've been a lifelong collector of books, and it's always been my dream to open a bookstore...after saying that for 20 years, I'm finally taking steps toward making it a reality. It makes me so happy to see videos like this--to know it's possible and to see the way you've connected with your community. Thank you!

I love your Twitter profile picture. A bookstore giving off a warm glow through the beauty of snow...ahhh....perfect.

I really have to make a trip to this bookstore! I love small businesses and this couple seems like they are doing it right. I used to go to Barnes and Noble all the time and spend hours in there. If I go to this bookstore I’m scared that I won’t leave and I’ll spend way too much money 😄. Keep up the great work and I’ll be coming there soon!

Claire has beautiful handwriting. I admit that I read her review cards for that pleasure alone!

I'll come work in your bookstore for 30 years! I'm in San Diego CA now but give me another 7 years. #booksaremylife #annarborlocal #longlivecommunityhighschool

This is a really poignant story about a great bookstore. However, they should rethink their policy of not working with independent publishers. In today's world of beyond desktop publishing, in the hyper connected digital age what that really means is that they dont work with AUTHORS..... So yeah, they have a great story and wonderful boilerplate, pretty people with a pretty store, but it seems rather incongruous, lets just say, that they are unwilling to work with the real independent voice of the author. They undermine the validity of their own existence by choosing not to support independence for the purposes of less paperwork.
