So happy to see Missy again. Loved her races in London 2012. Summer was awesome in Paris. Saw all her races alongside Leon Marchand’s. Girls, can you invite him to your show for a podcast please? He’s an ASU student and NCAA champion.
She is a gift to us all when she swims, the way she articlultes herself, the way she carries herself. The sport is in good hands. So, so proud 🇨🇦 and she is still so very young. Wow..her parents must be over the moon.
Discovered her at the Paris Olympics. Really inspiring, this wisdom coming from a 17 yo teenager is mind blowing. Cant wait to see her future races. Go Summer!
Summer is charming, stubborn in training, fun, an exceptional athlete, a wonderful person! She is going to make waves in the pool and the crowd in Paris this summer!
Yall have the best questions for these athletes. I hope you and Missy continue to do this. I would love to see some top level age group swimmers and coaches too!
For me Canada’s rebirth in swimming started in 2012 with you Missy Franklin. Even dough you were representing USA, you were a big thing with our Canadian Medias considering you were also Canadian. We were very proud. It showed Canadians could do it, be back on the podium and then we got Penny in 2016 and other amazing athletes and now Summer. Great interview ! The discussion between swimmers was very interesting.
What a great interview! I smiled the whole time and loved how you both kept it relaxing and fun. Great questions and Summer looked like she was totally relaxed the whole time. Thanks again and looking forward to seeing more podcasts.
i can totally relate with Missy , " I think too much about swimming even out of the pool.." I am so inspired by Summer's talents and habits to cope with her swim practices and hardships. What an amazing talk and episode. I'm so happy to discover this podcast. It truly has a big impact on my love for Swimming.
What a great podcast. Glad you had Summer on.. She's amazing. Great convo and topics. Very thoughtful. No need to mention the 3 Gold and 1 Silver she won in Paris. Just smiling that you're talking about the 400 IM. Summer won the Gold medal and finished ahead of silver medallist Katie Grimes by almost 7 seconds. Prior to Paris, she broke the world record for the 400 IM TWICE!!! in the past year.
Mcintosh - is good looking and a phenom in the water. Every big name brand should be marketing her and the canadian swimmers especially the ladies....Maggie etc...She should be the face of Nike etc....she has it all.
If you haven't seen Summer's WR in the 400IM at Nationals, she is truly adorable, and bursts out crying. Canada fell in love with her right then and there.
Just found your post-Olympic pod from Paris (you are the ONLY content I can't listen to on accelerated speed.....LOL...so much laughing). This my second UW pod of the day, and it's my hero, Summer!!!!
Here after she just won a 3rd Olympic Gold and a Silver in Paris. Way to go Summer! You are amazing!
Same!!! She is so amazing!! Congrats on your 4 medals, Summer!!
Same here! Saw all her races. She’s such an amazing swimmer. But my fellow french man Leon Marchand took 4 golds and one bronze.
Like if you’re here because Summer McIntosh is Canada’s ✨Golden Girl✨!!!
🇨🇦💛🥇🥇🥇🥈💛🇨🇦
Thank you so much for focusing on who summer is as a person instead of just her races, medals, etc!
That is certainly our goal! Thank you!
Amazing talented swimmer, beautiful, humble, really nice person! Let´s go McIntosh
Wow..Summer finds a way to be positive in her language, her actions, and her experiences..an incredible skill, and one so rare!
Summer is a perfectionist for detail. Even the background of her video call is perfectly symmetrical.

Excellent interview. Great job by the hosts Missy and Katie. Super proud of Summer, what an amazing athlete♡.
I LOVE SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she's so cool!
Summer is simply the most engaging young athlete, but beware, because she is a shark in the water and is taking no prisoners in Paris. 🇨🇦💪
Summer has an absolutely amazing future ahead. I wish her success. Congratulations from Ukraine!🇺🇦❤🇨🇦

A great conversation, share of views and experiences.
Thank you.
You share what is good to learn from, to enjoy and get inspired.
On top of being a tremendous athlete, you can tell that she's also incredibly intelligent by how well-spoken she is at just 17.
a great interview! looking forward to you guys interviewing more international swimmers!
Incredible talent. She will continue to break records no doubt.
Loved the interview. Very fluid and great questions. Feels she’s so mature for her age and pressure to perform.

T’es HS poto
Summer's favourite phrase is "I mean."
Summer won gold.
This is like comparing apples to apples --- Summer McIntosh, and some are not.
Damn she is not even in college yet
