Honestly the 400 is a really inviting setup 😊
The Rocket 3 R ,Thruxton RS , and Speed 400 are my favorites on this list.

And the Thruxton RS is far from “the new kid on the block”. In fact, Triumph has reported the Thruxton is being discontinued.
Don't care what anyone tells you, the Triumph Scrambler exhaust pipe is tough on your right leg especially in summer. "I smell pork!! Oh, it's my leg burning!"

I was a truck driver my mate had a Triumph Tiger Cub, it was so comfortable to ride,I learnt to ride big old Military bikes, I'm going back to the 60,70 mostly trial

My Speed 400 is coming in Jan 2024, to England. But the shop will hold it until March then will see how much fun it is! :)

Why don't Triumph fit proper mudguards to their bikes?
Triumph sold me a brand new Bonneville 750 in '77 with two intake lifter blocks so no oil got to the exhaust lifters. Lasted a whole 6 months and two weeks before turning it purple and filling the crankcase with shards of camshaft hardface. I urinate in Leeds general direction every day. Joe Sarkees say oh so sorry, only 6 month warranty.
Why Leeds? Your 77 Triumph was built in Meriden... and of course that was the old Triumph company. Hinckley Triumph is a completely different company.

Your bike was made with old school tooling owned by BSA. That is not the case today

Please explain
On paper the bhp figures are low compared to sports bikes, but the low down torque delivery is where the usable power is on the road.
They are not sports bikes, my Speedmaster produces 77 bhp from its 1200 motor but I get loads of torque and a high cruising speed coupled to good fuel economy.
Triumph can't choose a decent colour scheme to save their lives.
