My Game, has never been botted, people spread rumours out of jealousy as people couldn't believe how popular it got so quickly. unfortunately when I was 15 I did click a link which resulted in me being hacked, and then I became inactive for 4 years & Frankie did quit and thats why the salon became broken Boho salon is back now I will be posting a video soon on the truth.
I remember working on Boho Salon as my first roleplay job. It was absolutely horrendous, so I only worked there as a higher rank to mess around with people. I'm glad they got shut down, but it's also quite sad to see a community filled with millions be destroyed.

I remember loving this game when it was popular, and had no idea of anything happening behind the scenes. I just enjoyed giving people makeovers! 😂😂
The only part I knew about at the time was the scripter quitting, and then playing the new Boho game once it came out and disliking it, and never playing again! Thank you for making this video, it has been really informative!

I always knew Boho was extremely sketchy, however trolling in the game was just too damn fun. Trolling games like that just arent so common anymore.
trolling doesn't work anymore because the community has changed a lot too, everyone is so edgy now they just don't react in a way that makes it funny. i'll never forget how people would be like "NOOOOOO" when i put them into the wackiest costumes

As a former MR who was there for 9 months in 2020, i can talk about a LOT of shit that went down just during my time. We had a little bit of an active group, but its downfall happened again. I'd love to talk about it.

Why are all these clothing, cafe, and salon groups always corrupt.
It needs the absolute least amount of effort since they can just copy each other and the users they pander to will flock to it every time.
And there's always some poor kid who wants to get a start at developing and working on a game so greedy owners will probably hire them and give them very little in payment and constantly have them under crunch to push out new features and updates.

I still remember this game, and the group. 2016 days for me it was, I do remember spending robux on the gamepasses, and just playing it. The problem is, the group was very much forgotten about, and barely anyone remembers it's existence on the website. The other problem was, people very well knew they were using bots to get group members. Honestly, it's a shame to see a once huge group, slowly die down in its own hole.
(quick edit: I checked up on it just a few hours ago and it's still active, but, not as popular as it once was)

I was an avid hair stylist back when it was super popular. Imo, it started to fall when they replaced the salon with that cafe thing. It was sort of fun, but when they reintroduced the salon, it felt like everyone just up and left. What I find the most craziest is that the group wall still acts like people are playing the game when the majority of people have forgotten about it.

I remember my youngest sibling trying hard to join Boho back in the day, even struggling on the training quiz before finally getting it right. They didn't spend much time on Boho however and I'm glad they weren't there for the controversies that happened
I remember when botting groups was so normal some guy contacted a ROBLOX mod to get me a 3 day ban for pushing questions asking why he was botting his group, good ol days
i was in the boho salon group-a few months ago there was a HUGE argument between the owner and everyone else because she wasn’t treating people well at all and was ignoring everyone. she ended up leaving the server and made a new server and banned everyone from the original group from joining the new one

I loved playing Boho Salon. I remember when I was a little younger, I got pissed cuz I failed the application game 💀 I tried it again years later and I got the job, only to play it for a bit before it shut down
i remember wanting to play boho salon back then, but accidentally joined another game with the same name as it, one of their staff was aware of the more popular boho salon's controversies and told me about it, ill forever hold that community in my heart, all thanks to my stupid 12 year old mind playing the wrong boho salon (also their owner once accepted my friend requested because i was the only one really actively posting on the group wall, thanks iconvque :3)
I was a HR in the group many years ago with a friend of mine named Zhibi. Boho Salon was very shady in terms of tea that was going on, and the mass firing of employees was also crazy.

I was actually friends with the creator when I was a young teenager in 2017. All I remember is talking to them on discord and in-game and they'd constantly switch out with another person, I think a man? She gave me a few hundred robux out of the group fund to get the co-owner role in the game. It was pretty weird looking back now considering I was basically a kid.
I remember I was in their cafe game one day when this high rank suddenly quit the group and started abusing admin back in maybe 2018. Met a friend that day that I still occasionally talk to, great times. (Not)

there was definitely a LOT of scumminess in the boho salon group, but to be honest at the same time there were no interviews or tryouts if you wanted a job at boho as you just had to join the group and you could change peoples avatars for free.. it was a pretty innovative idea compared to other experiences at the time and tricked a lot of kids into thinking they could change their real avatar so there’s no surprise that it gained significance so fast and there might have been a lot of throwaway accounts
i remember this game alot, i worked there for a long time actually 😭 the staff i knew alot was named cowcow, they were a really good staff and its sad to see the fall of this group.

I'm from 2017 and from 2017 to today you dont wanna know how many games I've played. Most of the games I even still play them sometimes. I've seen lots of changes in some of the games, for example Survivor->Outlaster, and not only the name, but the huge updates... And I've strangely never heard of "Boho Salon", yet seeing this very informative video (or simply documentary) is interesting. It's sad that an "old" game is full of scams, bots... Just messed up in general. Sadly lots of good games get picked/targeted.

ugh i miss boho salon, i remember it took me sooooo long to be an employee there... i think it was becasue if you failed the test you'd have to wait a week or wait a few days, and i just couldnt pass the test. I was so soooo happy when i finally passed and i became an employee, let me tell you with the way i worked i deserved employee of the month if they had that.

Boho Salon is my childhood. Got 300 something points in that game when the salon was the "new" now old salon and the very simplified salon. I also really liked the minigames and events they got going on in Training Centers. I was the murderer once for a murder mystery minigame, kinda like Flicker. Recently, last year on June, which was a year ago at this point, this one huge raid where somehow a hacker compromised one of the SHRs or HRs accounts and that hacker decided to free rank almost everyone including myself to whatever rank. I was General Manager for like 10 minutes. With my 10 minutes I just looked over at Discord and ranked back actual HRs/MRs to whatever rank they were formally in before the raid because why not? Since then, I still have the screenshot of me having the General Manager rank on my phone camera roll.
I also got blacklisted once on Boho Salon because I was blackmailing, you know - CAUTION WARNING!! THERES A MICKEYM OUSE PICTURE THAT CAN HACK YADAUSIHDIUSAHJID something like that on the group wall and I just got blacklisted, I was so fucking confused lol. I appealed though, through roblox messages, to a SHR. This rainbow short haired person really helped me out, I like them.
Remember these interviews? They were hella fun too, you were able to talk to people, whatever shit you wanted, it was just enjoyable talking tot people in the interview center.
Honestly, I have so many good memories in Boho Salon, it's very sad to see it come down down down, down and down to the point the game barely has players anymore.
It's quite sad, honestly. But I guess it's for the good.

My Game, has never been botted, people spread rumours out of jealousy as people couldn't believe how popular it got so quickly. unfortunately when I was 15 I did click a link which resulted in me being hacked, and then I became inactive for 4 years & Frankie did quit and thats why the salon became broken Boho salon is back now I will be posting a video soon explaining everything.

i used to play boho salon a lot and i’m still in the group because i was a worker in-game and this is shocking lol i was just a child playing this game, but i remember that at the time, even if the game had +10k active players, the servers were almost empty and i would rarely find a full server.
i saw the title of this and had flashbacks of trying to join the group…
i remember watching roblox youtubers playing baho salon and trolling people or each others friends and was funny asf but never knew they where the most converofortel game in roblox history
