If you are in Melbourne and love traditional and rustic Greek food, particularly from the island of Crete then you cannot go passed the Philhellene restaurant in Moonee Ponds owned by h/w team John & Susie Rerakis. Watch the video and you will understand what I’m saying. Most of the fresh produce comes from John’s own home grown veggie garden where you will definitely taste the love in passion in the food. The team of chefs work alongside John’s 80yo mother Katina where they have created a mouthwatering menu that even the Greek gods would die to try it. Try them out, I promise you you will not be disappointed!!!
